Much prefer Whatever You Want over RAOTW both album and track wise. WYW the single surprised me as I had been sick to my back teeth of hearing it, but on the album it's a bit of a highlight, awesome intro to it, whereas with RAOTW I cannot get past the piano intro before I jump for the skip button. Used to be a big fan of Shady Lady back in the day but find it a bit bland now. Who Asked You is my fave track on the album , something about it reminds me of On The Level. Pretty sure with similar production it wouldn't be out of place if it had been recorded in 74. I like Your Smiling Face, and still rate LOAI , enjoyed it live on the Pictures Tour (?) as well.

It's in the car, so will give it some hammer over the next few weeks. I haven't listened to it for a while, so will turn it up to 11 in the inevitable queues if I like it , or down if I don't. Expect o see Wayne's World on the A59!

Does he wear smugglers or shorts when he swims? Hope, he doesn't still rock that shaving foam look!

How many of the album tracks have not been played live? Would have loved to have head a FF live version of What to Do. One of those tracks that would have been elevated if it had been included in the live set. Can hear the Quo Army giving the chorus some hammer, I didn't know what to do ..class track .

From the back of the class , this is still the best album of this month. The bonus live tracks on the CD are quite possibly the best bonus tracks on any of the 're releases as well.

The idea of him, on a Motorbike, ponytail and earring flapping in the wind, is comical to me. Ha ha ,yep that and when he has to pick his knees up to reveal his white socks and black slip on shoes. Think he'd be more of a scooter mod. I could see the Doctor Rossi in a band though. Maybe not Quo but definitely in a band.

Around about 1976/1977 when I first became aware of them through my older brother playing some music that sort of went jinka jinka jinka. Who are these ? Quo , and that was it. Can't narrow it down to a specific year though, so going to say 2009 when I got back into them. Also the year Rossi admitted he looked ridiculous so cut his ponytail off.

Always vies and usually flip flops with the Quo and Dog albums as my favourite studio album. Little Lady is just so recognisable as Quo, it can't be anyone else. MOTT not my fave, although the live version on the reunion tours , really brought it back to life. I Saw the Light and What to Do are my favourite tracks, whilst Broken Man is not far behind. One of my fave Al tracks of all time. Like them all . Bye Bye Johnny feels a bit overplayed , just because it ends the gig, wish they'd varied it more with maybe Gotta go Home. Any way top draw stuff . The studio version of Down Down with Als bass makes the single sound truncated.

I prefer my opinion of it and at the end of the day that's the one that counts not that of Francis ' Gerald Ratner' Rossi.

Hmmm . In the Army Now. Yep, hmmm. two members of the band I used to like play on it, but apart from that, I can't honestly think of anything poitivee to say about it, so in an old fashioned way, if you haven't got out to say , say nowt! That's the single done, not really heard the album .

John has already written a book - titled 'Coghlan and Quo' - which was first published in 2004. Guess this will be difficult to find now. But I will try. Thanks for the info. I was not aware of this book. Copy of it on E.Bay Uk for £19.99 right now

Brilliant album cover that I and no doubt many others have tried to recreate. My attempt was in the Ames Room at Puzzling Place in Keswick several years ago.
