1batfastard: QI-Seemed just a ripping problem,PC ripped most and not others. Having said that it has corrected itself touch wood, if I had a guess I would say it is the drivers, they kept making a stuttering sound like an engine with petrol problems. ??? Jan 18, 2020 17:42:45 GMT
1batfastard: QI-Sorry not very good at explaining (Like my posts (rofl)) I don't know maybe sounding like an old modem ? ? any better ? If it happens again it'll be down to the bloke who built the PC a few years ago, what about overuse ? Jan 18, 2020 17:46:25 GMT
4th Chord: Your drive might be struggling to read some of the disks Geoff . Are any scratched/scuffed? Jan 20, 2020 10:33:27 GMT *
1batfastard: 4th Chord: No brand new discs suffered the same, if I'm honest could just B overuse/the age ? Like I mentioned above it appears to have corrected itself so I'm still touching wood until the next time. Could a corrupted disc infect the players. Jan 21, 2020 16:15:10 GMT *
Quoincidence: Could be age. I use an external Disc Drive these days and haven't had any issues with it yet and it gets the job done nice and quickly Feb 15, 2020 15:10:24 GMT
1batfastard: Quoincidence Had the worst affected changed and haven't looked back, seems to be like you suggested old age, a bit like me knackered... :D Mar 7, 2020 9:37:27 GMT
dth1: Agree Mar 9, 2020 22:14:48 GMT
1batfastard: dth1 You always do!...…. :D Mar 14, 2020 16:24:48 GMT
quodec: Quo at their early primal riffing best. Imagine if we had the full gig to watch and listen to. Its a crying shame so many 70s bands have recordings of their shows, but not Quo. Was it lack of money that their shows were not taped, or were they not in the b Mar 31, 2020 20:19:01 GMT
badpenny: Wuhhappened to my "Two Interesting Articles" thread? :o Apr 15, 2020 0:33:31 GMT
4th Chord: Read the Covid-19 post in ‘important threads’ Apr 15, 2020 15:47:57 GMT
badpenny: OK, so which guideline did I violate? Apr 16, 2020 4:22:24 GMT
4th Chord: Space Corp directive 133. Apr 16, 2020 21:54:35 GMT
backwater67: Looks like fretbuzzzz has based his sales on BPI sales awards. Back in the 1970s & 80s silver sales were based on minimum 250,000 units sold. (Today silver sales are awarded for 200,000 units) May 6, 2020 18:27:41 GMT
juansupposin: Love the song, even the RIFF track! May 16, 2020 17:27:32 GMT
granny: But @4th Chord regarding your new rule...if the man running the country (Dominic Cummings) can weave a fairy tale around known facts why can't we be just as creative? May 28, 2020 10:47:27 GMT
juansupposin: 21st September 91 at Wembley, the 45 min Guinness concert, probably not the best concert to start, only 45 min, I remeber thinking they will play longer because it was the last concert :) May 30, 2020 10:16:34 GMT *
coluquo: Ok hard to choose in the 21st but my vote goes to Liberty Lane and yes I acknowledge more poppythan classic rock!… Jun 20, 2020 17:25:19 GMT *
1batfastard: granny: What! Become the English version of the democratic party? Maybe cummings is a democrat plant plotting a UK take over.... :D Jul 9, 2020 8:08:48 GMT *
Wim Huijsman: Nice item for sale, for real Quo fans. Rick Parfitt`s telecaster. Very nicely aged Fender Tele 1972 Aug 1, 2020 14:48:06 GMT
