I'll give them all a fair go as and when they come up. I didn't listen to any new stuff after 1982. UTI was the first one I have really given a bit of air time since but that was only really because of this thread.

Gave it another go, but no growers I am afraid. Not for me. A bit worried if as some have said, that this was a step in the right direction , as to what some of these 'later Quo lite albums may sound like.

Given up of trying to find any studio footage of them playing Break The Rules as a single.

Out of interest, are the pubs they played in, still on the go and which pubs were they? I'll have a look to see if I can find out unless anyone else already knows.

Whilst better than some of the 90's Quo I have been listening to and ok for what it is , it does remind me of something from the 70's - a theme tune to a bad sitcom about a bloke who talks too much . They might not have made it , but wow! what a theme tune , perfect.
Now then, there was this ageing bloke - used to be famous , but living on the past although he is in denial , desperately trying to relive former glories by re-inventing himself (canned laughter) , but whenever something good happens, he opens his mouth and talks too much (canned laughter) and kyboshes it straight away in comical foot in mouth fashion( more canned laughter )...and cue theme tune... closing credits , the end.

Never did do the final round for this, so Mad Tom gets the Championship despite Trampers late flurry.... and allegations!

Having given them a once over listen and not really getting to the end of any of any of them, I really do believe there is better music out there. It's quite shocking how bad they became. Not my thing at all. Sorry, but if it wasn't for the classic albums this lot would not interest me at all. Shine On is however ok, the rest would have to be growers but not sure I have the patience, time or inclination to listen to them all again to find out.
