The autobiography is soon to be released. What are your expectations on this book?
I have always been interested in what really happend during the 70:s. How much did the drugs affect what became of the greatest rock band? Why it turned into light version of themselves?
We will never get the story from Rick, Alan seems like he will never finish his story and John, who knows if he will do a book. So will Francis´book give the answers that explain all that happened during the years?

... and John, who knows if he will do a book... John has already written a book - titled 'Coghlan and Quo' - which was first published in 2004.

I think it's unlikely Francis will be able to remember additional stories from the glory years that weren't in the autobiography. Will still give it a read, although I expect most of whats there about the old line up / back catalogue will probably grate.

I am going to see his talk.
I have no interest in buying another book telling his story.
I have read his views on Ricks passing.

If Francis is genuine (not playing to the modern day 'prostitution' of irrelevant crap) it'll be a decent (if unspectacular) read, looking forward to it of course (and I have to say the album) and just lately (although forever in the Frantic Four camp) I've come around to the idea of Quo (FR's Quo) carrying on without RJP, it's Rossi's call, like it or not, still wish he'd been respectful to the Frantic Reunion Tours, maybe the book will shed new light on it (I have my reservations though)

He did say that anyone expecting him to be disrespecting/mis-calling Rick would be disappointed.
I wasn't fully listening but along lines that he (Francis) had to take of the business side of things. When they had the two buses, he and Rick shared one of them, it was was more what Rick was doing to himself that Francis didn't like.
He also said that nothing was off limits, question wise, during his talks.
Sounded like maybe I should try and get along to one - although out of the way places (if you don't live there)
Graham Norton Radio Show last Saturday.

Well I am expecting to learn the odd different thing, as for the first time the book is all from Rossi’s point of view. Previously books have been about both him and Rick and obviously to a certain extent portrayed the image of Quo that they were looking to get across. He is free from those constraints to a certain extent now, so think it will be a bit different. Sure though I will be disappointed with some of his comments on the classic era and the re-union, and I’m sure there will be a few stories I’ve heard a million times that make me roll my eyes.
With regards to Coghlan’s book, I had it, was an okay read, and I learnt quite a bit from his point of view. But I don’t think it was written particularly brilliantly, and there were a fair few factual errors in it regarding albums / dates etc, which was a bit of a let down for me.
