There's definitely 3 voices in the choruses, and a harmony in the last verse which could be Alan.
The first 2 verses sound a bit like Francis has double tracked his lead vocal, then in the lead up to the choruses, a harmony comes in which could be him again, or Rick.
The choruses themselves could well be all 3 of them. They seem to do the 3 part harmony thing well live. They did it during the Shepperton rehearsals and the subsequent FF reunion tours.

Wasn't some or all of the dialogue/sounds of Drone (D) from 1989 from The Italian Job featuring Michael Caine, and preceded WYW for a while?

Has a clunky kind of charm.
Quite raw and abrasive, taken further on the "Quo" album.
A bit under-produced in places, but denser in other parts, "Blue Eyed Lady" and "Softer Ride" being the pinnacles for me.

It has 3 lead vocal parts sung by different people. The norm was 2, Rossi & Parfitt, Wanderer, SBYBIL, Ol Rag Blues, It's Christmas Time etc.

Any idea who may have bought it? Me. I've already sawn it up into 150 neat little bits to sell off at a grand each. You too can now own a bit of the legendary green Tele at an affordable price. PM me. Sharing is caring, especially at this time of year.

Get out and walk. Sadly a sign of his declining powers as a song writer. I'd say that one sounds predominantly like an Andy Bown song both lyrically and melodically, in his defence!

The best we can hope for is for the PLC recordings to see the light of day. Spud talks about them in that new Quo magazine by Mike Quollector. They exist. Nuff has them, apparently. Get them released. Maybe Alan has been advised to hold back until Quo are through, then Francis will add his parts (or already has) and it will be a highly appropriate swansong with maximised interest and, thus, payout. They'd be daft not to do this IMO. It would be a profound send off, more so with Rick in the mix. Might even heal the rift between Francis and Alan.

Alan was/is Quos best singer imo. Maybe just me, but when i listen to the Live at the NEC album and Backwater segues into Little Lady and Rick starts singing, it's a relief, and Rick sings LL how BW should be sung imo, ie. much better! Actual singing, rather than AL's straining. AL can have a softer voice too, but i'm pretty sure his gruff vocal was a put on, a la Junior's Wailing on the Live! album for the rocker image. Sometimes it's hideously strained, other times it's fine. Maybe he just smoked a LOT more fags than the others?

I think the only thing with Alan is his physical health. Was apparently struggling to stand for a full gig on some of the 2014 reunion gigs, and had to be carried off after the encore of one gig, i think? That was 5 years ago.
At last years Quo convention in the UK he seemed to manage 3 songs ok, but at this year's, only sang one, no bass guitar.
Mentally, he seems to be all there though.

IMO i don't think Rhino's vocal qualities would have an influence in him getting the job with ANY band! Bass playing, certainly, though.
