None exist, I'm afraid. I didn't have a camera in 1977. I was as poor as a church mouse whose wife had just left him, taking all the cheese. Ach well. It's the memories that matter, but what a moment if one of your pals had captured it on a wee Box Brownie.

His guitar playing/sound on the Glasgow -76 live album....Incredible quorp It sounded even better in the Apollo....I was there. Did I mention that? I try not to talk about it. Were they any good?

I guess for me a lot of moments are favorite Rick moments. The thing is that for years my hero was Francis (but boy has that changed over recent years !!) ... but what got me into the music back then was Rick's driving rhythm especially, in combination with the melody and solo playing Francis added and especially the two voice harmonies... but Rick's guitar playing was THE thing that got me into it most, and I only realised that later on in the many years I have been a fan. Without Rick it would never have been the Quo I loved back then and still do. One moment for me where he really shines is on JS in Coming and Going. Also his playing on the live album from 76.
