The punters have sit down in case Kursaal 75 starts swinging his zimmer frame about...his bladders not what it used to be either. I wasn't at the Westcliff Pavilion last Tuesday, I was a couple of miles away watching Southend United beat Grimsby Town 1:0. Quo's Quo but football is football, more spontaneous than a set list.

The medley is tired and there are lots of others mid set I don't really want to hear. Get out of my head is the only song I've not heard before that makes me want to go. I like liberty Lane and backing off, but they will be plodders live Liberty Lane wasn't a plodder in 2019.

I haven’t been yet- I’ll be doing Glasgow later this year.
Is this a fair assessment:
The band are playing well.
The venues have been well populated.
While it’s nice to hear something different in Backing Off, it’s not setting the heather on fire and nobody will really miss it if it’s dropped.
Maybe the encore could do with one more song.
On the whole though , bearing in mind you can’t please all of the people all of the time , it’s been successful so far with a lot of happy fans .
Fair comments, from those who have been ?

Largely sums it up. Backing Off is liked by one or two people I've spoken to, to be fair. But if you discount those who are sad enough to frequent a Quo message board I'd say this is a successful tour. Most venues sold out or close to it with audiences going home happy. Basically the point of the whole exercise. The fact that they didn't manage to fit in Shy Fly before it ran careering into Something's Going On In My Head will disappoint a few but it's time these two were dropped anyway

I was hoping for an extended Umleitung as well. Get it sorted, Rossi !!!😉😂😂

I know Frame solo and Aquostic has done a bit of this but I'd rather they'd taken away a lot of the 'sheen'. That probably only makes sense to me. 🥴

If you went...
Is it true that Richie is lower in the mix than Rick was?
Also what about the drums? When I last saw "lite" indoors the drums were way too quiet for my liking.
Overall what did you think of the sound? Slick n clean or heavy? Volume?

Richie is lower in the mix but that's to be expected, Francis now is defacto boss, Rick insisted on parity of guitar levels, now Francis has totally grabbed the limelight but Richie is much higher in the mix than he initially was. Drums are excellent, Leon has a great touch and really understands the sound needed. The sound is slick but to me it's been this way since 86, I think it was the late 70s when I would last describe it as heavy and a lot of that is down to changes in touring equipment too, not just playing style.
