Well its a small world - as we say in these parts! I was there with my wife and son + my brother and his wife. All of us enjoyed the gig and came out unscathed. Anyway, hope you make a full recovery and your out gigging again soon.

Liverpool last Saturday was the first public place I'd been without a mask in 2 years, although I started the gig with it on. Completely impractical though.
I'd sort of convinced myself that a dose of Quovid was inevitable but so far so good. Although Mrs Mortified seems to have picked up a bit of a cold.

So done 2 gigs this week, band are clearly enjoying themselves which is good to see . Setlist wise, new songs do absolutely nothing for me and the response from the crowd was muted really. Why is the Borental still in the set ? Richie is a great singer and is loving every minute by the looks of it. Not enough volume though ,he needs to be turned up. Too much waffling from Rossi, his guitar playing is excellent though . Softer Ride was the highlight for me. Cheers

I'm a fairly new fan in my 20s - I am in Bristol and wish I was going to see them in Bath on Friday but too skint! I have never seen them, hope they come back round again soon. Setlist looks good! I would say "Burning Bridges" is the last big Quo hit people would know and want to hear, so it's a shame it's not in there but I imagine it'll turn up soon enough. "Rocking All Over the World" loses a bit of power without Rossi singing the refrain IMO, but I get why they do it like that now. "The Oriental" is a great composition but it's a shame about the lyrics. You'd think someone might have a quiet word with Rossi about it in 2022, to be honest. Apoloies if I'm repeating things that have been discussed to death here. Enjoy the gigs everyone!

Was at Guildford saturday night. Laurence Jones was fantastic. Haven't seen Quo since Reading 2017, normally see them every year. So much has happened since then but the sheer joy of hearing the drone to signal the start of the gig was wonderful. I enjoyed the new songs, especially Liberty Lane. Maybe having a break has done me some good. Hope the rest of the tour goes well, considering Wembley in December if I can scrape a few quid together!

powerage what I saw from YouTube Guildford looked one of the better gigs in terms of the crowd. I think southend there were large areas directly in front of the stage with people sat down!

Everyone was stood up for most of it, new songs weren't particularly well received but thats to be expected at a show like this. I was pleased they played 4 as usually you get 2 at most! Some good QUO chants went round the room as well.
Quite surprised as there was a reasonable amount of young people there too.

No Don't Waste My Time, doesn't every British rock guitarist since the 1970's start of with this one. I'm surprised Rossi is dropping this, for many the first Quo album track they ever heard. He owes this song a lot, good enough for live aid.

The punters have sit down in case Kursaal 75 starts swinging his zimmer frame about...his bladders not what it used to be either.

I wasn't at the Westcliff Pavilion last Tuesday, I was a couple of miles away watching Southend United beat Grimsby Town 1:0.
