Looks interesting QC. Watch for that bottle of water Rick!!!! "Water" Can't believe how they managed to spot that amongst that sea of people, and Alan didn't even notice until it hit the stage floor

Also it's a massive shame to say that both the vision mixer and the Video-tape editor that worked at / on this gig have both passed away.
Ros Storey [Vision Mixer] & John Turner [Video-Tape Editor]
We may never know where all the reels from the gig ended up.

Perhaps someday with lovely remixed audio I'm still after the huge colour poster from the Milton Keynes gig. one was on eBay not too long back but I was beat to it! I would love to have all the tops from the last tour, especially the white tees with Quotes. Quo's Last Stand, Francis Say How Are You... ALRIGHT? and whatever the other were Forgot to add, I have the advert for the 12 Gold Bars Vol. 2 / End Of The Road 2 page spread and a Smash Hits August '84 article on the MK gig

"Lot's of shots of helicopter's flying overhead and my vocals clearly overdubbed later" Francis Rossi. They definitely were overdubbed on the odd song... he sounds quite rough on the live vocal, but he had trouble throughout that tour with smoke on stage etc

Thinking about the EOTR'84 Tour, my 1st (and supposedly last) Quo gig, that sound that Quo had during the Farewell Tour was Top notch, and to be honest it wasn't matched until at least the Time Matt Letley joined Quo in 2000, but remembering the Frantic Four at Hammersmith in 2013, that was something else, those Twin Telecasters were so 'sharp' it was amazing to hear. But back to the EOTR Tour, some 35 years on, it still makes me smile, great Quo Times personally St Austell Cornwall Colesium 6.7.1984 Never to be Forgotten

Have a listen to the full unedited first introduction by Rossi at the Milton Keynes '84 gig. While doing so, you will also hear some angry voices in amongst the crowd: -

Wow can’t believe this was 35 years ago today. Rossi and the band may think it was not one of they’re best gigs but the fans see it differently. Needs a proper release.Great setlist, huge crowd and brilliant performance especially 4500X Cheers
