Quoincidence , is your original project now obsolete with the arrival of this Laser Disc?
And what format is the MFTR you just mentioned?
Cheers!
The MFTR release I mentioned was on DVD, and has been since ripped to my computer... From the 1986, Channel 5 release. Great copy I have to say, and that will be uploaded at some point. Will PM you in regards to the first question Cheers

LaserDisc rip is currently uploading to YouTube...
A new preview of the remaster is coming...
And the remaster will be uploaded at the weekend if I'm happy with the preview export...
Cheers

LaserDisc rip has been scheduled for a premier, tomorrow @ 16:00... It would have been today but YouTube is taking the piss! 1 hour video taking several hours to upload. Currently at 88% and it still says there is 1 hour and 18 minutes remaining. Cheers

Here's a link to the premier for those that will be watching as it happens, and for those that are available and not busy with work etc.
Enjoy!

.....I thoroughly enjoyed that. Thanks very much Quoincidence Glad you enjoyed it! Just a shame that More From was never released on LaserDisc... HOWEVER, The End of the Road Remaster is on it's way and will be uploaded this weekend (hopefully). It has taken 24 hours to render / export this and there's still 9 hours out of those 24 left, so everybody best bloody like this when it's done haha Cheers

F**k me QI, tears in me eyes mate... Happy to see loads of people have enjoyed it, albeit it it's just a laserdisc conversion of what the majority of us have had for years, but clearer visually and audibly. It's just a massive shame how so many of the tapes from the gig are missing. The individual camera reels, vision mix reel, full gig mix and the VideoForm master reels gone... The only existing footage is the Channel 5 Master Reels (2nd Gen copies) and a VHS Vision Mix tape which is a different edit to what we got... and the full show exists on '15' 24track master reels. It's a whole mess with who owns the rights to it as well due to every company (or the majority of) that released it / worked on it has since gone under, except from Trinifold. So it's a whole toss up between whether it's Trinifolds or Universals material... Universal only took over one of the distributors of the release, Channel 5, who was taken over in 1991 by PolyGram which is owned by Universal. Cheers

F**k me QI, tears in me eyes mate... Yep I kinda feel the same - I've always felt real sad at the start at the slo-mo bit where Quo are running up the stairs onto the stage. I dunno what it is but seeing Alan and Rick there knowing [?] that this was the end still feels like a punch in the guts - especially given what's gone on since then. I know it wasn't over - but we didn't know that then and imho until the '13 & '14 FF reunions, it was/is over. I don't think I'll ever not feel that without AL they just couldn't be anything like the 'classic' Quo - it goes without saying that JC completes the set properly, but have to admit I liked PK's playing - straight ahead power and no frills, second only to JC. There - rant over! That's what seeing that short clip has done to me!! THANKS a million QI - safeguard of everything that's 'Proper Quo'

Y'know what I'd [almost] settle to hear the full gig in decent quality audio! But it'd have to include ALL the songs, all FR's chat and the full version of '45k Times' - doesn't seem a lot to ask but given Quo's record with historical data I'm not holding my breath!
