God, I actually understood most of that!!
Y'know what I'd [almost] settle to hear the full gig in decent quality audio! But it'd have to include ALL the songs, all FR's chat and the full version of '45k Times' - doesn't seem a lot to ask but given Quo's record with historical data I'm not holding my breath! IF the rights situation could be cleared, they could do a 2CD + DVD/BD set. Full gig remixed on the CDs plus the edited videos. It might also be possible to "complete" the video with audience filmed bits and still pictures from Bob Young's vaults, as a fresh 5.1 mix of the entire gig is nothing to be sneezed at. Supertramp's Live in Paris was done a bit like this, although some songs had no footage at all and therefore were only presented as bonus material with some computer-animated graphics. With the audience shot footage though, they would have to get a hold of the original tapes instead of the audience / pro-shot edit that was done with it, and the master copy of the VHS cassettes would be better... however it wouldn't be suitable for being upscaled to Blu-Ray resolution. It would be better off to have pictures from the day, perhaps the songs without footage mainly... but songs such as Forty Five Hundred, Roadhouse and BBJ were its certain sections missing would be a massive pain in the rear to do that with. It would probably be a good idea to leave the Blu-Ray release to just a combination of the Edited footage reels with remixed audio, and have the full gig then spread across however many discs it would cover. Some songs would need to keep the overdubs due to their being some awful mistakes hear and there... massive one being the Backwater solo, but keeping it as raw as possible. I recently got the Just Doin' It [Ltd Edition Denim Sleeve] book and there's an incredible ariel shot of the Bowl that I will try to get scanned in.

however it wouldn't be suitable for being upscaled to Blu-Ray resolution. Put a fancy frame around it and leave the low-res stuff in the middle of the screen, et voila! With the audience shot footage though, they would have to get a hold of the original tapes instead of the audience / pro-shot edit that was done with it Yes, that could be a bit problematic, to put it mildly...

My sister who was 21 at the time managed to get to the front, in front of Rick, but during 'Roll Over Lay Down' 2 over protective security guys pulled her out against her claims she was okay. She did manage to get back near where she originally was. I was about 8 rows back in between where Rossi & Parfitt's mic's were positioned.

Hate the fact that the full tapes are missing, let alone the separate camera reels. Cheers
