I seriously doubt anyone will make a new album except for Rossi. The best we can hope for is PLC coming together to play live and maybe some new songs. But no way anyone will make a complete album.

My impression is that Edwards and Parfitt don't get along were well.

Someone previously in this thread said he couldn't get past intro. I agree. Piano/synth has been overexposed in the CQ songs and the piano intro represents that for me. This song is always a skipper.

God. I clearly remember getting this LP as a gift. I hate it with a vengeance because of what it represents. I have voted for four, but it is pointless saying which four. The Quo band made worse albums, but this is the one I'd burn and scatter at the crossroads. The sickening thing was it had multiple single success - 4 "hits" - which sent Frame entirely the wrong message for us Quo fans back then. You say you hate it because of what it represents. The same is for me with 1982.

Who gets the love. This is the only song I consider to be a good song on all albums from 1982 and upwards. Strange really but I like it.

So CQ is coming to an end. Really looking forward to see what Rick will do. He is the genuine rocker. Would be great to see the PLC come together. Hopefully that will happen.

I do not agree when he says the reunion gigs were nostalgia. It is going back to the seventies of course, but more like going back to the roots of what made quo so great. Nostalgia is something to remind you of old times but when you listened a couple of times you feel that it is best to leave it all behind there. But Quo reunion was not Nostalgia.
Look at the reunion gigs on YouTube or DVD. To me it appears that Rossi has a great time on stage and enjoys it very much. Whatever he says about it, he must have had a great time.

I have found the BBC4 programme featuring a great Quo segment. If you cant be bothered watching it all, go to the 41.30 part. Cheers. Thanks for this link. Great to watch this. Have watched the Quo part but will watch the remaining parts tonight. Unfortunately my job requires my attention now.

Why not try it again? Maybe we will have a different result? It would surprise me if it's exactly the same 26 who will vote a second time. I didn't vote last time but will next time.

Wish I could have been there but too far to travel for a 16 year old boy from south of Sweden.

I guess it is easy to forget what it was to be a Quo fan in the seventies but it would be great to read your stories about this. What did your non-Quo friends think? Was Quo the sweaty dirty rebels that was a danger to society? What different social groups were Quo popular in?
Please share your thoughts and memories.

From about 1978 up to 1985 almost daily. From 1985 up to around 1990 rarely, maybe once a month. From 1990 up to 2006 maybe once a year or even less. From 2006 I rediscovered quo and when ISOTFC came out it was played a lot during a year or two. From 2009 up to 2013 not so often. From 2013 several times a week.
There are albums from the nineties that I have not even listened to once.
