Yep. And don't forget the heart and soul in the songs... it often does sound like he's bored yes of course. That should also be added.

Francis said in an interview, must have read or heard it from one of many links being posted here, that when they did Acoustic he discovered that many of the old songs has some nice little melodies hidden behind all arrangers and this has been stuck in my mind since then. What does he mean? In Acoustic you can hear how most songs are "peeled off". Intros are shortened or removed. Songs are shortened and bits are removed. How can you believe that this will make the song better? I don't get that. The song will loose it's identity and become boring. What he says is more like Industrial production optimization. Remove everything unnecessary. But this is music and this so much more complex.
So why does a musician want to do like this?Has he gone bored and just want to get over with it?
Francis, please try to remember what it was that made music great. It is not certain chords in a specified order. It is sweat, energy, attitude together with brilliant songs.

Still love to listen to the old albums with Bon. Dirty deeds is absolute favorite. Liked Back in Black and For those about to rock but after that it was not the same.

I used to love the Sweet but unfortunately I sold my vinyls some ten years ago. Really hate myself for doing that. Spotify and youtube is great to rediscover old music again.
Used to love this album and in fact had to buy the vinyl again.

I used to play this a lot when it came out. This is the only album post-81 that I will vote for 4 songs.

Well unless Brian Johnson rejoins(if he sorts his hearing out)im done with ACDC. Can't accept any more line up changes Angus should retire the name now while still has a legacy(bit like some other band) Cheers The difference is that they take care of their legacy.

When I first saw this thread is thought it was an old thread that someone had updated. With a headline like that it could have been a many years old thread.

Very good poll. Will be very interesting to see the results.
Just supposin' was the song that got my attention first. Loved the song but also whole album. A friend of mine had this album plus Piledriver. Loved both albums even despite the big difference in style.

Have a listen to the new album, powerage & Geoff.
I have listened to this album constantly during past week. I must say it is great. One of their best albums ever they have made. And also these guys are getting quite old now. Rick is 68. Give this album 10 of 10.
