Backbone week 2 UK 26....sales 2,728. (total uk 11,777 so far) Germany no’29. Not much airplay from radio 2 this week although they did play Army 3 times live from Hyde park. Backbone getting some success in Bolivia, Azerbaijan, Australia & Paraguay....More downloads than physical sales!

Interesting Surprised it only made no. 76 in Ireland That is really f*cking bizarre, I live in Northern Ireland, so sales here count towards the UK chart, but no.76 in the south?! They've always had a good Irish following, shifted loads of tickets...and with the new boy being Irish himself (and the resulting extra publicity that generates in the local media) that position is pretty inexplicable. They do listen to some awful aul' shite down there though

Zero publicity here..I’m still waiting for my CD to arrive at Songland record store.

I had a look in JBs a week or so ago and only had a Piledriver CD there. I ordered my deluxe edition at Songland and still waiting for its arrival.

Interesting Surprised it only made no. 76 in Ireland Quo's charting over here has been shite since RTYD 76 in the charts means it probably means it sold about 70 copies. Takes less than 1000 to get to number 1 here from what I understand. Then again, those numbers were from 2011 Ticket numbers aren't affected by charting though, as shown down the years...It's other aspects..

I can understand getting to only 76 in Irish charts. I had to order the CD through Amazon. Plenty of Quo fans in rural Ireland but unless you live in Dublin or Cork there are no CD outlets for casual fans to go in and buy a copy. At least QPQ was sold through a supermarket chain in 2011.
