By me
I listened to this at work. From every fcuking horrible Rossi extra vocal smart arse groan to the incredible vocals on SYBIL to every extra little guitar tweak this album is appalling.
I once described being in the audience in the 70's and early 80s during the build up to the guitar solo and during the solo in Rain as being caught in maelstrom of noise. Some maelstrom meanings to underline my point " turbulence, tumult, turmoil, uproar, commotion, disorder, jumble, disarray, chaos, confusion, upheaval, seething mass, pandemonium, bedlam, whirlwind, swirl. This crap turns this song into a cardigan,an old dog asleep in the corner,an afternoon nap,an Austin Allegro, readers letters in Woman's Weekly.
i also couldn't help but suddenly be inspired to change a lyric that will get me stuffed on here but so what.
"Find me a shack where it's cool inside, and turn my back on the bloke that died."
This disc is the final resting place for all that Status Quo once stood for on stage.Rhino isn't a singer in any shape or form. The drummer sounds like he's banging a selection of saucepans with a wooden spoon while knocking up an omelette in the kitchen.
The young bloke who's injected so much fire into the band, irony for you there, has taken on the worst job in the musical world and is sadly just a bloke with a white guitar who strums along.
Andy Bown does the usual Mouldy Old Dough on songs that were actually once described as blistering.
Francis Rossi? An arrogant lazy performances by a musician who preaches perfection but never actually approaches it.

You really have to.Only need to hear it once that's all.The Wanderer is an amazing experience, remember when "The Man" used to struggle on "Well I roam from town to town" but never once compromise or short change the audience, well Col,you need to listen to this collection as a matter of urgency...nothing,and I mean nothing, bares any fucking passing resemblance to anything ever recorded in the name of this band. Please listen because your opinions are valued and I'd love to read your input.Remember Col blokes who support teams like ours are always optimistic,"lost 7 nil but had a good throw on near the death,we can build on that" but this has no redeeming features and that fact alone makes it essential listening mate.

Oh god, is it really that terrible? Did you actually listen to all of it? Not sure I can bring myself to try it. Guess curiosity will come to me and I may have a spotify listen...
Thank god I was never an "all format completist". The new album (in every format going) must cost a fortune

Ok you made me do it you evil bastard. Just listened to bits of it on Apple Music. Railroad surely asking me to listen to this must be some kind of crime. In 48 years my ears have never heard such terrible noises. I'm home alone but may need some professional help to get me through this...I just hope when my Mrs gets in from work that I'm not slumped in the corner of the room dribbling and making gurgling noises. My only hope is that watching Federer can wake me up from this living nightmare. It's fuckin laughable, who would buy this shite or go to see them? Surely this is some kind of joke? It will take me a while to get over this, SBYBIL has sent me over the edge....I need a stiff drink and possibly some class A drugs very quickly....I'm a mess!!!!

Francis Rossi said, “This release captures Quo on incredible form, at a concert that will live long in my memory. It was a difficult time, but we knew what we needed to do and we delivered. This was by no means business as usual, nor should it have been, but the energy of the music, the band and the crowd coming together was palpable”.

Quo are proud to announce 'The Last Night Of The Electrics', a sensational live set recorded at the band's emotionally charged, barnstorming show at London’s O2 last year, Out 14 July 2017.
Palpable means it was so emotional that you could almost touch it, it was almost tangible.
So, my beloved Rossi thinks that what he is doing is great and fantastic and brilliant and palpable.
Cut him some 'slack' he's trying to keep his legions of fans happy.
And anyway, he's Francis Rossi and we are not.
I hope Francis doesn't read the comments on this Forum, because his feelings would be hurt. Pause..........Bazinga!!
