I don't believe that either tbh
I always thought Rick and Francis had more money than that, despite whatever they were spending it on.
Well I think they were ripped off several million in the 70s/80s, Alan knew about it but they didn't listen to him. They might have got that back but they were broke in 1985. Alan must have done alright out of whatever he invested in anyways, assuming he did invest in something. He seems to have had a good lifestyle.
As Rick and Francis obviously have had too. Just different circumstances for Alan considering how it panned out

1 million,5 million a hundred million? Who cares.
Whatever they have they have earned and I begrudge them not a penny.
By the same token compared to most of us they and their family's should be minted.
If not,more bloody fool them.

Whether he left millions or didn't have a pot to piss in at the end, who cares? Really. I don't understand why anyone cares.
Talking of Lyndsey, and it may be the way the paper reported, when mentioning her wealth pre-Rick, why mention actually figures, type of house, type of car? Wouldn't 'I was independently wealthy and have no need of his cash' sufficed?

Wouldn't 'I was independently wealthy and have no need of his cash' sufficed? Maybe that's what she did say but the journalist then asked for more detail.

I think the worry for his dependents might be are there any more bills out there.I reckon that once you have a certain lifestyle it must be fcukin desperate when it's threatened. And always remember this my old Endell, how's Laughing Spam these days, that it was the newspapers who talked of £10 million.I always thought that to have a big stash you had to do well in the U.S.A.And even if the Daily Mail made up the whole thing including the interview facts, who's going to sue them?

Laughing Spam Fritter's been out the loop a while, last I heard he was poncing around with some hobbits. As for Rick, I haven't a clue if he had a tenner or £10million. I like the Daily Mail though, it's really handy if there isn't a newspaper to read.
