After 2014, FF- was pretty clear that Francis made it clear it wouldn't be happening again, regardless of Ricks view.
So Rick and Francis fell out? Shock! Horror! That was always going to be a consequence of the FF tours in 2013 and 2014. An FF reformation on a permanent basis needed to be a unanimous decision - and Francis vetoed it. Reports in media that they no longer spoke.
I always though 'the media' made these stories up. That was the common view on here at Rick's funeral last week, so what's changed? The band started to play gigs without Rick, and used insurance as an excuse, when in fact they have cancelled many times because of Francis.
The insurance excuse is extremely plausible. Rick had a history of heart trouble, commonly known as a 'pre-existing condition' and so not covered by insurance. Normal practice. On the Rolling Stones tour of 2014, it came out during a legal dispute that Keith Richards was not covered by the insurance policy in case of “alcohol abuse, liver failure and/or disease and osteoarthritis”, or for any condition related to his fall from a coconut tree in Fiji in 2006 and subsequent brain surgery. Guitarist Ronnie Wood was not covered in case of “alcohol abuse”. More info: Rolling Stones 'deeply upset' after personal health details leaked to publicFor some reason Freddie played guitar on Appistic.
But you don't know what that reason is. Rick announces that he wants to be a rocker and is fit but choosing to leave quo. Within hours Porter announces that despite press statements to the contrary, Rick will still be involved with Quo, something not right there.
How do you define 'involved'? Whatever he said, the truth is that Rick was forced out of Quo by his health. Up until then he seemed happy enough to go along with it. Rick sends initial draft of autobiography to publishers, highlighting the problems with Francis.
Speculation. You don't really know how far (if at all) this had got. Celebs don't write autobiogs, they get ghost writers to do it. It would have been either the band manager's job or the publisher's to get someone in to interview Rick over a few weeks. What would Rick have said? That Francis has 'a tiny todger'? If you still want to support the current pathetic band, good luck to you.
Ha ha! Thank you. I am confused. I asked to tell me what parts of what i said were inaccurate. I didn't ask for your opinion of what I said. So i ask again, show me what is inaccurate. Me! Me! My guess is "The band started to play gigs without Rick, and used insurance as an excuse, when in fact they have cancelled many times because of Francis." Which subtly implies that they cancelled Rick because he is Rick, and not Francis, because he is Francis. But this ignores the fact that Rick had a lethal condition (QED), whereas Francis does not. My guess. I guess others might have others.

"Excuse" is an opinion, fair enough. Quite a lot of relevant information not there, you could say, but no, probably what is there is mostly accurate as far as we know. Indeed subtly woven - are you a journo, Derry? Or a lawyer? Or a PR man! If not, you are surely wasted!
Or was it a trick question?
