Just had a quick look and it looks really busy. Must be towards 80000 there. Whatever I think this will be great publicity for Substandard Quo. I will record the whole thing and flick through later. Im going to watch Substandard Quo as well. So that I can give a view of it, with decent sound. We shall see. Much later. As it clashes with the NFL.

Not convinced that this will do much for Aquostic II, but Aquostic, that's a different story. People will not wait over a month to buy an album. Also, That's A Fact isn't as accessible as AIBN is. You can barely hear what's being sung about because Francis is half-jaked. I don't his expect his vocal performance to improve for this, and with Rhino/Andy on vocals for WYW, it'll be great to see the positive comments afterwards. Magic.

I reckon this will put Cardiff Castle 76,the Glasgow live gigs and Hammersmith 2013 into the shade as Quo crank up the power with and rock Hyde Park with a blistering set based around a triangle, spoons and 2 warbling backing singers...bad one to miss.

I'm just glad they are not performing Roll Over Lay Down this afternoon, as the Southend Kursaal, live EP version might of been under threat

So this is the set:
Pictures of Matchstick Men Paper Plane Caroline WYP Claudie That's A Fact Hold You Back Rollin' Home Down Down Whatever You Want Rockin' All Over the World Burning Bridges
Far too many straight up and down songs of the same tempo. The usual strum along just like the previous AQ 1 gigs.
I don't know why WYP is included - its amongst the blandest strum along of all of them and WYW and RAOTW were awful at the Union gig
I've quite enjoyed listening to the gig so far, while out in the car - some of the music played has been quite good and fitting for a lovely sunny warm day like today.

So far at Hyde Park Scot's lads who had a couple of hits but nothing much else A pleasant enough girl I would not recognize at a bus stop A C&W artist plugging their latest album in a give me the money slot A big black yank lad wearing a balaclava on a fcuking lovely summer sunday found only in the British Isles singing sub standard soul
Still to come 1 member and a long time collaborator of the greatest live act I've ever seen who produced 5 of the best rock albums where nothing actually did sound the same playing some good songs on the wrong equipment for no good fcuking reason but to shed 'himself' of the fans who made 'his' career as 'he' embarks upon his journey to Nashville without any of that silly old rock baggage.
A band who's singer can't actually sing but do a lovely silly dance while a bloke might fly around playing a saxophone.
A bewigged short overweight bloke who is the inspiration of the look adopted by the Premier of North Korea.Who cannot write lyrics but is hailed as a fcuking genius who also can't sing a note anymore who is so fat you cannot make out his fingers.

Unnecessarily over the top. Madness are a top live act and have a great back catologue. With many of their songs have great lyrics. Elton John isn't my cup of tea but he is a legend in music and has written some great songs. As for Subdtandard Quo we shall see. Lets face it you would be full of hell if people picked the vaults of Alan, John or Rick. Just over the top, even for me.
