As Piledriver and Markquo say, Over the Edge, Coming and Going & Take Me Away. I would also throw into the mix, The Wild Ones, Riverside & something a little different but still thumping, Mountain Lady.

Of CoursE. It's the only sensible option.

Hi All, I think Lets Rock from the Quid Pro Quo album is a good contender from their later music......
Geoff.

Never heard it before Geoff , but as soon as Rick started singing ' rock around the world blah blah blah , then 'I like it I like it' , it got turned off , the next line wasn't ' but I can't stand the rain ' was it ? .

It's an odd one this...would be a contender for pisstake of the year..but...I saw them give this a real pounding at Greenwich and the crowd loved it.

Quo were famous for their relentless heavy driving headbang-inducing piledriver beat. What do you think was the last piledriven song Quo made? I am going to say the execrable "Rockin' On" ! Turn up da bass and listen to it without nodding your head... execrable? I really like this one..bit of a jig,bit of a shuffle and Parfitt doing the Parfitt thing...can't knock it.Lyrics on WYW are some of Quo's best. When I was young and a bit impressionable I thought the lyric 'If you like what I like come rock with me' was aimed at 'us' lot

Hi All, Piledriver, Each to their own not the old FF style but as close as the CQ may get I just thought that being as it was their last proper studio album it deserved a mention another I like from their more recent albums is No Problems from the Rock Til You Drop album.. Geoff.

Sorry Geoff! I think Let's Rock illustrates everything that is wrong on the negative side of CQ. Awful borrowed and corny lyrics, a playgroup quality chorus, and, basically, RAOTW MKII - but unfortunately also perfect choice for the karaoke style of promotion and gigs the band have increasingly chosen. Its therefore no surprise it was picked for the set.
Its the kind of song that your Dad might embarrassingly get up on the floor to at a wedding reception after too many pints of beer
Dust to Gold, as a gig entertainment show selection would have been far too much like 'serious' rock music and not suitable for a bop...

Greenwich was a good one with great support,Nine Below Zero and guest appearance by Glenn Tilbrook.
