No official statement from porter...but I am lead to belive that he and Francis have come to a realisation of the mess they have made managing status quo...an institution that is going out to a half hall whimper

CQ could play a free concert in my back garden and still I'd close the curtains.
Porter wouldn't last one second with The Stones. They've got the balls to sack him. F+R are a joke.

There is no comparison between the two..you cannot debate FA with a Stones fan.I stick to arguing with Slade fans etc.

I think they're pulling the plug at the right time.Parfitt's health must be a factor and so must the boredom of it all.Alright for us to have a pop but they've never really gone away and left the fans in the lurch tour wise. They are the best judges at what they can manage.
14/01/68 UK, Coventry - Butt's College.Rossi and Parfitt onstage 48 years later(That's the amount of years from the end of WW2 to 1993)
23/12/16 UK, Liverpool - Echo Arena.Rossi and Parfitt onstage

So let me get this straight, the Rolling Stones play a free gig in Cuba and it's used as yet another excuse to have a pop at Simon Porter?
Un-fuckin-believable!

I agree Billy, it seems people´s cynicism and desire to whine is over-the-top sometimes.
P.S. I´ll say it again: thank you Status Quo for 50 years of your toil, 50 years of creating music and 50 years of having made all our lives that much better.

Any excuse to have a pop at Porter is a good excuse.
Seems that people with vested interests in the band always have good things to say about the deluded one.
