Great musician , always professional & gave 100%. Even on the reunion tours Alan struggled to get about the stage but his guitar playing & vocals were exceptional. RIP AL

Heard the news after i got into work this morning a colleague told me i was like "what seriously" then had a look on my phone on here and saw it

Agree. JS was the first Quo album I bought and this was my favourite track on it. Hell of a tune.

Gutted by this. I will always savour the 2 reunion tours at Wolverhampton, especially the 2013 one where I stood very near the front right in front of Nuff.

thanks Nuff, for creating the best band this planet has ever known. thanks for the huge effort in getting the FF back on stage in 2013/2014, best four gigs of my life.

Such sad news but at least his dignified and courageous fight is over. He never wanted sympathy, it was still all about the music on the two reunion tours. I'm so very glad he got to feel that tidal wave of love for him sweep over the stage from every audience on those tours.
