Tracks i do like from the album; Little Dreamer, Not At All (even though it is a naff attempt at a bluesier song), Heart On Hold, Perfect Remedy (much better without the first verse, as it was done live), Address Book (grew on me after listening to the test discs for the deluxe release over and over again), The Power Of Rock, 1000 years.
Gone Thru The Slips i love and feel like it should have been on the album rather than being a b-side, Rotten To The Bone is a great track and would have been perfect had they redone it for the Rock 'til You Drop album rather than Tommy.
Not overly keen on Doing It All For You.
Blondes Don't Lie is alright, but could have been a killer track with better production... the drums sound like a drum machine as opposed to Jeff actually playing.
The Anniversary Waltz I wouldn't slump in with Perfect Remedy, as they were recorded when the band had gone to Bray Studios to make a start on the Rock 'til You Drop album / overdub the Birmingham 1989 show, where they were actually set up on a soundstage rather than in a small studio.
I feel as though the band were far too relaxed in Nassau, like they were in Montserrat for the Back To Back album (apparently the band weren't even keen on the output for the Back To Back album and considered wiping the tapes, which would have been expensive for them at the time... depending on how true that story is).
Compass Point Studios in Nassau is collecting dust these days.

Does anyone know what "gone through the slips" actually means? It's a cricketing term I think. Although being Scottish and not from the most enthusiastic cricketing nation on earth I could be wrong Slips, gulleys, all that.... Edit: oops, railroad007 beat me to it

Yeah, I know. We have the odd, eh, oddball who presumably went to a private school and showed an aptitude for the willow and the leather when he was forced to choose that as his 'summer' sport (Rugger being the chosen/forced upon winter sport of middle class children up here ). Incidentally, how did he manage to captain England? Always wondered how they got round that one

For some reason, always thought it was something a bit kinky, à la Rick's "ST's showing" (Did Rick wear the stockings himself? Was he looking in a mirror the whole time, speeding off his tits?)

I notice that he was born in Bellshill.

It’s funny how cricket is usually associated with toffs to some people. I come from Yorkshire so associate it more with big strong gruff northern types like Geoff boycott, Brian close, Freddie flintoff, Fred Truman. Th in it’s probably the radio four commentary that doesn’t help

That's how bad this album is.
People would rather talk about Cricket...
