I could really imagine Back to Back as a cheesy rock/pop song. The words forming part of the chorus going something like this:
And its back to back, to back we go. Back on the road , back on the to and fro'ooo.
Heads down and back to back.
Throw in Andys keys and Bernie singing Back to back as BVs at every given opportunity.
Its a hit with a silent s isnt it ?

I always thought this as a bit of a nearly track. Nearly good but not quite
If it had been recorded without the 80's Quo bits such as the meeeiiiee bits , followed by the high pitched ( Andys keys ? ) link , I would really like it.
One of the better tracks from the album that unfortunately finished it for me...saved me from what was to come I suppose.

Didnt like it back in the day but it has grown on me. I still think it sounds too poppy but its ok, sort of, just.

Not heard this in an age. Didnt like it back in the day and still not that keen today. It is however no where near as bad as I used to think.

Definately a Gerdundula vibe at the beginning as has been said then a bit of dualling Banjos .
Excellent even without a bit of accordian

On The Level was released 49 years ago today. Although the tracks would have been recorded in'74, I presume that would have been fairly late in the year You're right. I've always wondered on what day it was recorded, and was it an afternoon or maybe in the evening? Nearly 50 then ! I know it was written somewhere and it was fun there.
