I still have a triangular pin badge from the album, I really like it because it's classy. (Unlike the album, which is quite poor.) P.S. Assault Attack wasn't below par. Granted it's not Armed and Ready, but there's quite a lot to enjoy. Come to think of it, I'll be playing Desert Song, Samurai and Ulcer today!

... Incredibly, I still went ahead & bought the next album! That last line could have described my feelings, although I'm not sure whether I bought it or not. I listened to it, and that's more than it deserved. We didn't got no contract no more.

Superbly summed up! If they had recorded together the old tensions of the sound, the direction, the heaviness of the band would all have surged to the fore again between Alan and Francis. By the time of the second tour it was all falling apart anyway, the old entrenched arguments, the equal pig headedness of two people, Rick's disappointment and utter frustration at Francis's attitude to the FF gigs. We should just be grateful that we got what we thought would never happen. A second chance to see that little bit of magic that four guys created. I'm with the Rainbow chappie on this one.

Row for Quo was his finest hour unfortunately it’s been rapidly downhill ever since Cheers As his English improved, the humour disappeared, after the Row for Quo tour Swiss became a bit panto. I'm sure there is an analogy somewhere...

At the time I still went to Quo fanclub days, but already felt a bit embarrassed when my friends mocked me for liking Quo. The singles had been cringeworthy for years, so I kind of agreed with them. Back to Back was the end for me (for a great many years).

Hello there! My accent is not Swiss it is French Swiss. I use the googly translator sometimes but my English is pretty good. Can I refer back to point 1 in my reasons please? Francis did order a stage invader to get off the stage. If it was a cameraman then he shouldn't have been there either. I feel it showed how quickly and unfussingly Francis can deal with the unexpected. Stage intrusion is a difficult thing to get right. I am in a band and a stage intruder one fell over drunk into the pa system which brought the show to a stop for 10 mins. Francis sorted it out in the blink of an eye. KIND REGARDS Again, not a stage invader but a cameraman trying to do his job... Doing it unfussingly would have been Francis asking the cameramen or mentioning it to a producer before hand. I kind of think I know who you are, but not 100%... are you in a Quo tribute act? as there's a guy on facebook that is obsessed with making a list in regards to Quo and it's the most irritating thing ever, but he has needs from what I understand. Cheers Obsessed, irritating, needs… Fourth, Ive hasn't been given access, has he? (wanders off to shit in a bucket.)

Points 1,2 & 5 from the OP made me smile Shame MrCheese's English has improved so much, "prefer the early stuff" Pre-brexit cheese was better.

The sheer influence Slade had on a colossal array of different bands and artists alone makes them well worth checking out. And if you think Quo Live! is the dog’s bollocks, Slade Alive! throws in a whole other bollock. I've ordered the remastered Slade Alive (2 cd live anthology) only because of your last line. On your head be it.

All of you missed the pointin telling the world you would like to hear it. Here's how it's done: I would definitely BUY a newly mixed IYCSTH, so John: go ahead. It is a task long overdue; I like quite a lot of songs on it, but the production and the instruments used really let it down. So let's make the music resemble the brilliant artwork and make this one a classic (please.)
