February 19, 1980: Bon Scott dead at the age of 33. AC/DC were, after Quo, my second favorite band at the time. Fortunately got to see them live in 1979, the only time I ever saw AC/DC live.

Thanks quococnut and what a perfect song to remember Bon with. He and the Young brothers launched AC/DC to the world and jusy shows simple rock n roll is still king. I saw Bon with DC a few times before they left here for England and beyond and it was a given they'd be so big. No doubt his showmanship and that cheeky glint in his eyes propelled DC to the world RIP Bon.

R.I.P. to the mighty Bon Scott. According to Clinton Walker's book 'Highway to Hell' they we're gonna make a movie on the legend, but the Young brothers refused it for unknown reasons.

The number one Rock 'n Roll song with bagpipes! Probably where Quo got the idea for 'The Wanderer' video.
