3/10...only tracks I like are Rollin home, Red Sky and Overdose Totally agree dreadful album & it would get a damn sight worse with the next 2 as well, the band i`d loved since `74 were finished replaced by a very poor imitation dont get me wrong ive been to a lot of shows over the years well over 100 ff & cq & enjoyed them mostly but the albums really after JS & NTL were pretty shite imo HT showed promise bits of RTYD were ok but the rest sit on my shelf gathering dust as part of the collection.

The last night of the electric's...!!! Seriously though CQ are not retiring, its Rossi trying to hammer the final nail into the coffin of Quo the rock band, it only took him 30yrs to achieve this, enjoy the final electric shows whoever is going and the accoustic tours to follow in 2017. I'll pass on both as I was at the final Status Quo gig in Dublin 2014.. As was i - the night it ended for me

Anyone got this? santa brought me it & have recently been going through it all have to say its a pretty impressive set ( why NTL aint in i`l never know like) Ive got them all in original form anyway (all signed as well - ) but its great to have brand new copies & in the main they pretty much faithful to the originals though being a bit of a Quohead when it comes to stuff like this some of the colour shades differ slightly & the inner sleeves are thicker & the hello poster is a smaller version however the additional posters in each album are a welcome bonus & most importantly my god they sound great through my system - Frantic Four played how they should be on the turntable & cranked up letsrock All in all well pleased to have them. quorp quofr quojc quoal

does anyone know if this was meant to be the running order originally, and if not why didn't he put it in the same order as the original mix ?? I read somewhere on the old mb where he reckoned this was the original running order of the album, personally i think i prefer the running order on the original release however this new version soundwise absolutely blows the shit out of the `77 version its almost like having a new album HYB, RR, LR,CGYM,WAI & TFG being my personal favourites, i was like many who at the time thought wtf is this when it came out but John Eden has really brought these songs to life & given them what they always needed - some bollocks! the bass & the drums sound powerful something that was always missing originally no matter how much you turned the bass up on yer shitty little record player at the time it still sounded like it was recorded in a biscuit tin! Many thanks to John Eden for his hard work on this & its probably a very very long shot but it would be nice if he could have a go with IYCSTH - give it a harder edge & tone down the brass & backing singers? Hopefully there will also be a vinyl release of RAOTW quorp quofr quojc quoal
