Yea...for some strange reason I never have been able to get into that song either... Think it's the "treble" on the track...
It's very sharp sounding for some reason
Yea you may have a point, I never liked the sound on that track either..

For me, it just lacks that certain Quo-ingredient. Looking at the lyrics, it could have been a bit more self-deprecating but it comes across as dead-serious. Also, while Andy Pearce's remaster somewhat took the trebly edge off the album, I find the constant guitar fills in the background annoying - the song needs more room to breathe IMO... the solo part is good though, because it gets a bit looser there.

What was it Andy said about some of the early stuff. "Too many Black notes gives you a nose bleed".

Something to do with the Key of B. C#, D#, F#, G#, and Bb are all notes in that key. Probably black notes on the piano.
Ain't got a clue about piano tbh

I don't know much but I do know where some of the notes are, and that looks like black notes because I know they ain't white ones That's thought provoking - I know that B is a good key for some open tunings, and I think Quo use it quite a bit, but it didn't occur to me that would put their keyboard player on the steep bits!

The QUO album is my personal favourite as its their peak as a hard rock band ! Best opening to any of their albums in BW & JTM And my favourite quo ballad in LM. And the fantastic ST to end ! Funny but at the time I took a while to get used to OTL. I was expecting QUO 2 !

If there is coin to be made...................... Likely but some here would argue whether it should be a double headed or a doubled tailed one, then again a three sided one might be best.

Who wrote: "You don't like rock, you don't like roll, you don't like rock and roll no more"?
I've had enough of him and his music.
