New here, so don't shoot me down if this has come up before!
Now that Rick has passed away (RIP), what do you think about Rossi getting involved with the 2 PLC tracks that John announced? A few weeks ago I would have said "no way!", but since Rick is gone, Rossi may re-think it. It would be great tribute. He has nothing to lose. I can understand him avoiding it in the past because he didn't want to open up the FF can of worms again, but FF is off the table now, no matter what. As intriguing as PLC sounds, I think it would be missing something without Rossi.
Any thoughts?

Doubt it very much.
In fact, I'm 100% certain

Don't think he will, but it would be a fitting last gesture, they won't do well commercially or anything, but would be good for quo fans to have

It sounded to me as if the tracks were basically Alan's, rather than a planned collaboration. Transferring that to a tribute to Rick doesn't quite add up ... without Rick, it's not the same thing. My feeling, thinking about it. OK! Just caught up. John said Rick had already laid down guitar tracks ... so ... where would Rossi fit in? I have a kind of an elegaic feeling about this ... I hope it's good. I think I'd better go and have some coffee

I've thought about this and i think he should (if he's asked to of course!) it could be good, and for him, it could finally lay the FF to rest like he wanted to anyway, a fitting tribute, and one for the Quo collector.

I genuinely wonder if he'll broaden his mind about the whole 'nostalgia' thing in the future, or will he remain cocky about it all. With respect.

Highly doubt Francis will walk into a studio, with two men, who have good reason to have issues with him.

My take on it is that apart from lead and drums, it's already been recorded.

With Rick passing away will this maybe change Francis's attitude with Alan and John as surely he must be thinking the issues they have had and the falling out again with John & Alan (is that correct?) will make him realize life is to short and rekindle his friendships with them?

I really hope that's the case. I recently watched the extra on the Hello Quo dvd where Alan and Francis go around their old haunts from their teenage days. They were obviously good pals in the past. They may never be close again but I hope they can let any anger go now.

Not a chance. He's moved on (idiot).
