Thanks for the clips Quoincidence . I too was tearful when LOAI was sung. It was as if they whole crowd said, 'you don't have to sing alone, you're not alone' as they all sang together. Brilliant.

It's all a bit nostalgic though.Couple of young lads to freshen it up might improve things. They've got one haven't they That great tall lad leaping about like a mad professor in his long johns Loai, pretty, give me that Big Fat Mama! Go RPJ. Now ... (I know railroad is being a tad sarky OK but ... ) Francis was right IT IS NOSTALGIC and remember wot nostalgia is, it's the desire to go home ... and WHAT is wrong with that?? Musically Francis can't get home, somehow, it's his loss. Not his fault, just the way he is. B ut it seems like Al and John have a home to go to, and there they are, playing it. If only Al had the stamina to do some club gigs with JCQ ... that would be a dream. In our big cities. I guess I'm just thinking 'bout the past. How's this for strange.I was born in 1959 yet on 15/3/13 I was Nineteen..strange.

It sounds like a great weekend, wish I could have gone but due to a large hole in my wallet I couldn't make it. Great to know that Baz is back. Will he be back with JCQ or will Rick continue?

Very much doubt hes going back to JCQ hes got a completely new band & he talked about making new music when i spoke to him.

Cheers for the clips. Great to see Nuff in fantastic form, belting out his signature tune so well. Also RPJ with his tribute to his much missed father with Living On An Island with the Quo choir singing every word, touching, very touching. Then following it up with what can only be described as a barnstorming Big Fat Mama, is the rest of that clip out there? Brilliant stuff!

Here is the full Big Fat Mama clip. Good on yer RPJ! He's a bloody good frontman ain't he? I might not like all the stuff he sings with his own band but fcuk me, he owns the stage.

By the way I wasn't trying to start a debate on the old JCQ band V Current band. I think that there's already enough debate over SQ FF V Current, which may have been covered once or twice before on here!!!

Wow , that was emotional - great clips and thanks for posting. In my view that brings a proper closure, just wish I had been there.
