Relaxing at airport now...knackered. original flight was late afternoon but that's when the weather is to deteriorate. Anyway back to last night, still absolutely buzzing ( ears too). They got it so perfect. It was just so amazing. The buzz of chatter in the hall after the concert was incredible. Probably my last ever Quo event. Just can't see how the next convention can offer me something that will beat this and will probably not be the same type of theme anyway. This was just the perfect unofficial memorial concert. When RPJ was playing there was a picture of Rick on the screen above.RPJ talked about learning the songs and preparing was a healing process for him and thanked the fans for the book of comments that Yvonne gave him. If RPJ played in current Quo, I may actually go and see them..he is a real show man. He tried to sing LOAI with an aquostic guitar only ..the singing from the crowd practically drown him out the noise was so loud. Alan had a ball...he loved it and sang so well... Still on a high and so glad I went. Thanks Yvonne and Viv sorry we didn't meet...woild have liked that.. Derry I have a image of you at the Sydney Opera house holding up a sign saying "Please wink at me Ritchie".You are munching on some Coles ham and cheese sandwiches...explain this please! That will only ever be an image in someone's head.

That’s brilliant, I welled up when he started talking about his Dad, great voice. Please tell us you’ve got footage of Alan as well.

It's all a bit nostalgic though.Couple of young lads to freshen it up might improve things.

Living On An Island has left me with tears running down my face, to all of you who were at Minhead you did Rick truly proud, who needs an official memorial concert when you have JC, Alan and the Quo army?

It's all a bit nostalgic though.Couple of young lads to freshen it up might improve things. They've got one haven't they That great tall lad leaping about like a mad professor in his long johns Loai, pretty, give me that Big Fat Mama! Go RPJ. Now ... (I know railroad is being a tad sarky OK but ... ) Francis was right IT IS NOSTALGIC and remember wot nostalgia is, it's the desire to go home ... and WHAT is wrong with that?? Musically Francis can't get home, somehow, it's his loss. Not his fault, just the way he is. B ut it seems like Al and John have a home to go to, and there they are, playing it. If only Al had the stamina to do some club gigs with JCQ ... that would be a dream. In our big cities. I guess I'm just thinking 'bout the past.

Weve just got back, it was up there with the best nights ever absolutely brilliant, the atmosphere in the venue was electric & it was a joy to be part of something so special. The whole weekend was class, Baz back on stage with Predatur, the absolutely incredible Sounds Of Status who literally tore the roof off on saturday night, then just to top it all the massive impromtu sing-a-long out the moon on the water pub - (if anyone was here during that you`l know ) it just ended a fantastic time. Thanks to everyone who organised, attended & played! quojc quoal quorp letsrock
