As you know, I still enjoyed QPQ. And it could have been a real good album had it only been full of songs like Frozen Hero, Dust to Gold, Movin 'on and one or two others. but yea... ever since indeed....and feel exactly the same way about JCQ Yes, very true, there are some very good songs on QPQ along with some filler as well. Maybe there are simply too many songs on it? I don't know. Not just that... also the totally unessecary inclusion of You're in the army now. Anyway you like it is another yeck song... and Reality Check (sorry Rick...)...

Id go along for sure, just too have a quick look at the sados with there Bula/aquostic patches clad denim jackets who will still be stood in the queue in anticipation of seeing their hero's rock the roof off. Appoligies to any sados who read this but ffs give your heads a shake and finally admit STATUS QUO are over . The thing is, we all have different breaking points. Being a Quo fan is complicated. Some hung up their Denim jackets when John and then Alan were ousted, but some hung on to the Rick and Francis incarnation. Some then lapsed but then came back (me) and some joined the party in the intervening years. The straw that breaks the Quo fan's back is different for everyone and if some people still get some enjoyment from a CQ show, I don't think it makes them saddo's. But I certainly think that the end moment has come for a significant amount of the fan base. Well... at least we have the good memories of 70-81 and the enjoyable moments after of what was a remainder of what was between 79 and 81 already... it's just in the past. No reason though to stop enjoying it and keep being a fan of those good times The more I think of it, the more I come to the conclusion that Quo was never one person. It was a combination and none was complete without the other.

UTI being the exception because it's only 12 tracks. Would ditch Little Me And You and Making Waves. Would have also made the singles worth buying because there'd be new tracks instead of DD, WYW, RAOTW, etc.

Jesus wept. What utter shite It's on Spotify. If you dare... Ok,I dared....... I want my mummy....... The sound is absolutely gutless and where this injection of youth gives the band that supposed kick up the arse,I really don't know. What I do know however,is that this version of Rain has resulted in my ears reporting me to the authorities for psychological abuse. The vocals on this album are beyond piss taking and it shows that the band and management know that there are a large percentage of Quo fans that will buy any old shite as long as the Quo name is on it. This make Live Alive Quo sound like Live! 77 in comparison.

Luckily JCQ and the tribute bands can give us a live experience of some of the classics (and more importantly, some of the lesser played songs) and although never on a par with the glory days of Quo, can still be a great reminder! quorp quofr quojc quoal

In a future documentary, the period from when Rick passed away till now and maybe a year, 2 tops, when Francis tried to carry the band on, it'll be seen as the final, sad, and somewhat tragic segment in what's been a great story.....for fucks sake Francis, end it now with what little dignity you have left......

I reviseted in search of the fourth chord on my way home from north devon hols today.....i know, kill me now.......( i played on the level while on a road trip during the holiday, much more enjoyable) but anyway, think theres only about 3-4 tracks on isothfc that i can really say i enjoy, but not REALLY enjoy, just "that's quite good, or bit different". In showbizzy rock terms, (not on a personal level with his family obviously) Rick checked out, shuffled off, ....errrrm....died.....at the right time before any credibility (again, in showbizzy rock n roll terms, not in his personal life......sigh) was lost forever, and he ended up, miserable as sin, sat strumming accousticly next to Francis (who lets face it, may as well have been 55 when he was only 35, can kind of understand that, nothing wrong with craving a quiet life if you're that way inclined!!) and wouldve keeled over from sheer boredom in the end anyway. What foes it say in that Pensylvania blues tonight nonsense, thge last verse, "it doesn't mean a thing, not anything at all, just something else to sing, penslyvania blues tonight ect ect" yes thats one of the 3-4 on isothfc that i actually like for some reason, shame on me. Francis is a real stubborn jerk (management as well) for not retiring the the mighty Quo brand name, i would absolutely go and see his solo outfit at a theatre within taxi home from me, he'd still make a comfortable enough living from small solo gigs, but "Status Quo", nah, i wouldn't go even if i had a free ticket these days, stop it Francis, just stop it. Rant over. Sorry steve but the bit about ISOTFC and finding OTL much more enjoyable is a classic understatement.

Just had another skip through the tracks again on Spotify. The band should be embarrassed by this. It sounds like it was recorded using a tin and a bit of string, and the vocals are bloody dreadful.
Utter mince.
