A case of it being too late and too expensive to scrap the release once the decision to carry on and stay electric was made, in other words one almighty fuck up. Very eloquently expressed and my sentiments precisely.

I'm up early, to rush down to the local HMV and wait outside until 9 O'clock, until the doors open and I can get my hands on the blu-ray & CD editions of the live album!!!....NOT. A far cry to March 1977, when I finished work early to get the live double vinyl album, of the Apollo Glasgow concert, where it didn't leave my turntable for ages.

I understand why you say this, I really do. But what about royalties for Rick's youngest children? Sounds like they will need the money. And in that way, I do believe they want to honour Rick's legacy. Still heartbreaking though.

Sounds nice but I believe far from it.... they're performing them as they're too afraid of not delivering to Joe and Joanne Public.

Was nothing else on the list? I know you don't want a serious answer but I've had another look. And they are no1 & no 2 - bluray/dvd. No3 is Oasis. No.4 Joe Bonamassa - an acoustic concert, Live at Carnegie Hall. So they've still got some fans out there. Have you ever sat in a car on a long journey with a Joe Bonamassa fan singing out loud for hours at a time? I have.....
Nothing against JB but three hours being serenaded (plus passenger seat air guitar) without a break is not the kind of gig I would buy a ticket for

No. But from your review, I don't think I want to.

Hmm..I really doubt that 'they want to honor Ricks legacy',they just play those songs like they've always done.
Just my opinion of course. I don't want to discuss Ricks family business at all, just want to say that I think those children will do just fine in life going through different educations and growing up to be a couple of lovely people just like their parents.
Back to the current band now,and someone mentioned Joe and Joanne Public,it looks like 'those two' don't care much anyway what bandmembers there are today,so why care what songs the current band are playing? Throw in some of Rhinos songs in the set ffs (Bad News,Busy doin nothing and Famous) so can Frame rest his voice now and then, but please take Ricks songs out...
Well I have some ideas haven't I??
