So they have found 2 tracks from the Stoke concert, Most Of The Time & Roadhouse Blues, recorded on 2nd March 75, which was the day after the Southend Kursaal gig, in which Juniors wailing, Roll Over Lay Down & Roadhouse Blues was recorded. I'm assuming that the Rolling Stones mobile unit was used to record the Stoke tracks, so like the Southend tracks, should be of good quality.

Gerdundula was recorded as a sound check from Stoke, on the live ep, so the live recording's of Most Of The Time & Roadhouse Blues, should be of the same quality, but saying that, you could be right.

Ah, I've always wondered why there's loads of crowd noise on ROLD and JW but none on Gerdundula. It's a great version of Gerdundula so here's hoping I suppose.

I have always wondered about the recording of "Gerdundula" on the 1975 Live EP. It never sounded like a live recording to my ears and I have a half-decent quality (for the time) bootleg cassette of the band playing in Ipswich in 1975 which includes them playing "Gerdundula" and it sounds very different.

"Honkey Tonk Angel" (demo version). Never heard of this before. Was this demo/track recorded maybe for the Blue For You-album?

"Honkey Tonk Angel" (demo version). Never heard of this before. Was this demo/track recorded maybe for the Blue For You-album? I'm assuming it's a reference to a version of Wild Side Of Life, although there was a song called Honky Tonk Angel by Conway Twitty

I would imagine that the live stuff are bootlegs and there's half a dozen versions of WSOL. As they didn't tour in 1980,the Just Supposin' bonus tracks must be studio outtakes like "previously unreleased,Francis Rossi tunes guitar" or "John Coghlan chops up drum kit with an axe". I will wait for the full details of all three albums but given the shoddiness of the previous lot,I'm not holding my breath.
