I just don't get the hero/idol bit, I'm interested in the music they make, or used to make. Apart from the reunion gigs, the only post End Of The Road gig I'd attended was in '86 on the In The Army tour. That was the end for me as they no longer sounded sufficiently like Quo to me, even live - obviously, they hadn't really done so on record since Never Too Late.

ITAN was the first time I saw them live. Having nothing to compare the '86 lineup to, I knew no better and saw them several times more up until RTYD (I think) when I lost interest until 2013 & 2014. What an eye opener those reunion gigs were! I strongly suspect that, like you Dennis, if I had seen the FF in their prime then ITAN would have been the one and only time I'd have seen CQ.
