I like it, got 4-5 songs from it on my playlist so it's a win for me. As I wrote on the other section, the post 1986 songs translates better than some of the old ones. Songs like Jam Side Down gets to shine imo

Thanks mate for giving me a damn good belly laugh. I'm trying to avoid this album but just had a sneaky listen to IITS after your post. I got to the 1:06 mark when Rick sings(?) "She opened up her eyes to speak..." OMG The I pictured him in a Mary Poppins chimney sweep outfit...classic stuff! Glad it's not just me then. She opens up her minces as if to speak She looks at me and I am weak Her minces seem much bigger than before I cannot think anymore Guvnor

Doing nights at the moment so bunged this on the laptop. It's fcuking terrible but on the flip side a really great laugh. Some stand out vocals in the shaving mirror bathroom style from the lads with Living on an Island, sad that Cruxie and Pattie have gone and won't be there soon, standing out for doing this to the reviewer The interpretation of Backwater is reminiscent of news footage showing ISIS blowing up some great monument. ROLD...words fail me Rocker's Rollin' produces a vocal highlight from Rick "Just let us rard we don't wanna be tard" what's a fcuking tard rard?We might get "Lets Rard" on AQ3 The new songs are the England losing to Iceland of Quo's career and should be buried deep in the legendary vaults where all the other crap is kept, to be played only when water boarding has failed. There is a lot more to be said but why bother.

It's fkin terrible. It makes the first one almost listenable. Never mind ROLD, what the hell have they done to HYB? It sounds like a reject Burning Bridges. What possesed Rossi to re-record the dirge that is LOTHR? Two songs I can (almost) listen to are Resurrection and Rockers Rollin, but only if you forget about the proper versions. And don't get me started on the new material. Rating: Shite/10 No... I didn't buy it but have it through Spotify. Resurrection? Stuck on the cd fuck me it's shit Looking for rubbish and I found this was it My reaction? Disatisfaction I'm going to drop this down a hole

Resurrection sounds like Rick is singing in the style of a stage show where the bloke exits the stage kicking his legs and waving a fcuking hat...and who the fuck is this 'Colin' they keep shouting out?

Maybe it's a reference to Colin Johnson, who was Quo's manager at the time the original track was recorded .

Oh well I know what I said but I couldn't help myself. I downloaded it off iTunes this morning and listened through earphones whilst cutting the grass.....(rock n roll or what?)
Nowhere near as bad as I expected. I doubt I'll listen to it much but I've certainly heard worse.

I just can't bring myself to listen to it. Don't do it!!! I decided to give it a fair hearing and it's one hour of my life wasted. The only one that was remotely listenable was Hold You Back.

You must have heard some serious shit Col.I've heard worse but not from a band capable of so much better.

Who knows? This may attract a new type of fan who love this folky approach. This could go on for a long time yet and in years to come they, the new Quo fans, will ask who were Dick Poorfoot,Jim Coughlong and Adam Winchester?

Are you being sarcastic and having a pop against me and my opinion or are you comparing the guys to that murdering rapist monster? Neither is called for.....

I doubt he meant either. I'm sure he'll confirm.
