Francis can't seriously believe the band are better without Rick.
He admits he doesn't know if they can sell tickets without Rick.
His observations about Rick may not be wide of the mark, but it's not his place to talk about Rick's marriage.

There's nothing in the interview that Rick has not admitted himself over the years. He has said he is a grass is greener person, then finds it isn't, though by then he's messed everything up. The song This is Me has him singing about it. Yes the comments about the band are wrong but that's Francis doing his selling pitch.

He admits he doesn't know if they can sell tickets without Rick. He should know that when Rick was there Quo were unable to sell enough tickets to make a profit. It's not what people wanted, and they'll want it even less now without Rick and having seen it the first time. The novelty's worn off. Aquostic II is shaping up to be one of the worst albums this year, yet a Top 10 position in a pathetic market will blind the band and certain fans into thinking it was a success. Will they run at a loss AGAIN? |

Cletus goes down even more in my estimation. What a w****r. People often can't articulate when they think someone is dead. I have examples in my own life which I won't detail because it's family/friends stuff, but at that moment almost any noise/gesture/silly phrase, even laughter, comes out before someone can say "He's dead." Or even "I think he's dead." I think that is what is going on here. |

Honestly what even is this 'band' any more other than a joke of its former self? Rossi feels the need to talk down about people all the time whilst trying to make himself look like god which he was probably once considered by the fans. After losing the ponytail he lost touch with who he was and become a grumpy old fart

Let's be serious, how many songs have they actually changed in the set within the past sixteen years? cause it's always been the same format of ROLD, DD, WYW and RAOTW... opener is normally Caroline, The Wanderer, SBYBIL & DWMT... the odd time Paper Plane was 2nd in set. CUOY and the Oriental have been in the set for a good 10 or more years. All Stand Up was in the set up until 2006 or 07, replaced by BOTE which is still there. TPAOY and Belavista Man was in the set for a year or two then they was scrapped. Proposin' Medley has been in the set for 11 years or less, Mystery Medley was taken out of the set in 2012 replaced with Mystery Song (minus solo). Anniversary waltz was taken out in 2002 maybe 2003. Hold You Back, Rain, ITAN and Burning Bridges have been in and out of the set for a while now.
Have I missed anything?
