So he's actually gone from the band.
They let that slip quietly

I knew I'd seen it but couldn't quite remember. Its in that snippet of the TV listing that Simon Julou posted in this thread about Good Morning Britain.

No doubt Mr Pieman will try to butter up everyone in the GMB studio by handing out copies of the album, like he always does, the a***licker that he is.

Rick who? Well at least Rossi can go on tv and say 'well, he wasn't an original member of the band anyway, he only joined in '68!!'
John - done Alan - done Rick - done
Finally, Francis can record and play the music he has always desired under the Quo name. Perhaps it was the Italian in him. Systematically eradicating his enemies to take complete control. Godfather IV

Finally, Francis can record and play the music he has always desired under the Quo name. The world awaits his epic version of " Running Wild " , by himself or under the Quo banner ( imagine the reaction to that ) .

I know that there's a horse's ass on his pillow when he lays down to sleep.

Not sure why this is news? Rick already told us that he isn't going to perform with the band again because he's worried about the effect on his health. Meanhile, Manager Simon Porter said: “He continues to be a member [of the band] and is rewarded accordingly.”
The stuff with Francis is Ritchie is just promting the tour. (I agree I would rather see Francis and Rick talk about what has happened to Rick. But it's a bit hard gonig on TV and talking about what is NOT going to happen shortly.)

Hi everyone, I think some people are too harsh about Francis! He did certainly not want it to end this way, without Rick. Medically speaking it's not possible for Rick to play along for the forthcoming gigs. Francis is just finishing this year of touring. He found a good stand in for Rick. It's not Rossi's fault that it looks like Rick has retired. I'm sure he didn't want to get rid of Rick, his health just came between them!! Let's give Francis some credit for keeping the show going on till the end of this year. I think he deserves it!!

Shitting on the legacy of the band, it's name, it's fans, it's music and carrying on this ridiculous charade that is the winter tour? Nah mate, if I was going to give him credit for keeping the show on the road, it would have been for not acting the bollix with the original line up, not once but twice.
