And if you're heart broken over the end of Quo, I understand. You're always welcome back if you change your mind.

Ressurection sounds quite good. More like what a quo acoustic album should be like but then it's only 30 seconds of it

'Bula Quo', 'Don't Stop', 'QPQ". Dreadful albums.....yet this, THIS, could actually be the worst album Quo have ever recorded.

How to do an acoustic version of a classic rock song.
Backwater would have worked like this. Rick's vocals wouldn't have worked. If only they had someone in the 'Quo family' who could have done the track justice. A guy. Any guy.

And indeed, I wish Quo could have done things this way !

I agree the famous and riffs albums were bad...yet, there were a few songs on them which I would prefer any time above any of the Aquostic nonsense and that goes for both Aquostic 1 and 2.

I remember a review in Q magazine for the "Live Alive Quo" album. The review concluded with the words,"it may be fashionable to hate Status Quo but on this evidence,it's easy to understand why". Fast forward 25 years and now that phrase can be slightly amended with the release of Aquostic 2: "It may be fashionable for a lot of Quo fans to hate Status Quo but on this evidence,it's easy to understand why".

Post 85 Quo in a nutshell: Second rate pastiche of their old sound or mind numbingly bland A.O.R. The Rolling Stones were the ultimate "old fart" band 30 odd years ago.But they have completely turned their credibility around and young people have discovered their music and they play to more people than ever. They also had two members (Jagger and Richards) who were sometimes violently at odds with each other musically but still managed to keep it together. Rossi complains that he can't be seen to be acting like he's 25 anymore but that doesn't stop Mick Jagger, and The Stones are as big now as they ever were in their prime. The new blues album by The Rolling Stones shows what happens when an act plays to it's strengths and returns to what made them famous and influential. These two bands are the total opposite of each other.Francis Rossi is the poster boy for how not to grow up in the rock world. Aquostic 2 is so bland that it makes Val Doonican look like Shane MacGowan.
