Each to their own...as I say, fans like you are responsible for them carrying on in this false pretense. And no I won't be going to this farce..and plan to get a refund Fans like me can't afford to throw £50-£60 away on a principle. Pretense or not. Then do what I am doing and get a refund... And for the record no one can aford this ...but if I went to a shop and bought a pair of trainers. ..and when I went to wear them 5 months later, and found that they put the wrong trainers in the box and they were too small, big, female trainers etc....I don't just wear them cause I bought them...I seek a refund and if i don't get it...i throw the trainers out as they are useless anyway... So in summary I would rather throw out a set of tickets than pretend or accept that I will be seeing status quo...cause you can day whatever you want...but quo with no Rick is NO QUO...

I understand the desire for a refund. I would want one too. But to not go if you don't get one will not affect the band because they still get your money.

I know it will make no difference to the band... Bottom line is...its not status quo...so there will be no point going...actually to take that further. ..it would only annoy me...to watch this tribute version...There are better out there

But at least Derry won't be wasting his time and more money in travel expenses. If refunds aren't offered and enough people take his stance then maybe there'll be enough empty seats to make the band sit up and listen (I somehow doubt they would care though).

Lets see how it pans out. Either Rick returns or refund/cancel tour.

I genuinely don't think there are enough true fans who go to these gigs that would make a difference if we didn't use our tickets, they all full of casual on goers...who don't care as long as they hear the hits...and the truth is, that's why the tour will continue and it won't make any difference, even when they offer the refund, people won't take it, as they are not true fans... and at at the risk of offending some on here, sadly that applies to some here as well....

True and what would it achieve anyway? With Alan & Rick's health, Rossi's attitude and everyone's age I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that we have seen the last of the FF

I suspect one last hurrah for FF despite all that has happened. Odds against I know but just have a feeling

Hate to say it, but I fear Rick is now relegated to the stage stool.

I suspect one last hurrah for FF despite all that has happened. Odds against I know but just have a feeling I hope you're right and I'm wrong but, health issues aside, the main obstacle is Rossi and I can't see him changing his mind. He has to maximise his income and CQ is the best way of doing that as he gets a bigger cut from them. Also, Porter will want to squeeze every last drop out of CQ as it's his only income as far as I know, so he'll be egging Rossi on. When the band finally do retire, at least they'll have royalties still coming in. Porter won't and what respectable band would want to take him on with his track record of pathetic publicity stunts etc.?
