Folks, don't waste money on Hello and Quo. But do get RAOTW for the remix.
If you want to get a good quality remaster CD, please get the Culture Factory versions. So far they've released Blue For You, Hello, Quo and On The Level and they sound fantastic.

I've already got the 2005/6 remaster ones... are they different/improved? how's the artowork compared to the remasters and the original Vinyls?

I pre-ordered all 3 of these with Amazon when they became available and they arrived today. Well pleased. Only had a quick listen to bits of the Rockin remix through headphones a lowish volume as house is a bit busy at the mo, but sounding fab. Is it me or is the demo of Baby Boy sounding far more interesting than the actual studio versions? The demo of Baby Boy is one of the bits I had a quick listen too and the guitar bits throughout just sound so better to me, like a Spanish acoustic feel to it, almost lovely dare I say it. Nobody will remember, but I said on the old board that I had hopes for Baby Boy remix to have a stripped back acoustic feel to it, well the demo, at least, nearly creates that for me in places, same song, but bit more interesting to me. Forgive me though, it's been a long week and I've literally had one quick 10mins or so listen to bits on 50% volume through headphones. Will give it's proper run out tomorrow through the speakers and turned right up. Great to get the 1976 demos for Hard Time, Hold You Back, Dirty Water and Baby Boy with the remix though. Yep this package is worth it, but still think, as others have said it would have been better to make the remix disc 1, have a 1977 live recording if they had one as disc 2 and scrap giving us the 1977 original. Hey ho.

Hey ho. First Night Stand would have made a nice bonus live disc. Though that could be released with a Deluxe version of IYCSTH.

Hey ho. Drumming is much beefier on the BB demo.

They're like mini replicas of the vinyl, so BFY is a gatefold, and Hello has got the poster. They are the best sounding CDs you can get. Loads more detail and dynamics. Vinyl is still king but if you want digital, get Culture Factory.

With so much crap on every radio station (Sam Smith, Adele, Ellie Goulding, you name it) I couldn't resist the temptation anymore and tore open the RAOTW deluxe edition.
Just flipped through the tracks and all I can say is...wow. I'm not even sure which disc sounds better! Okay, the original mix has its flaws but it sounds pretty much on par with the previous albums now! The remix brings more dimension and clarity but also sounds a bit more modern, certainly not the way it would have been done in the 70s.
All in all, really impressed by both Andy Pearce's as well as John Eden's work. This is a definitive edition in the true sense of the word.

For all the work John Eden has put into the remix, it's a shame that the same enthusiasm hasn't been given to promoting it.

Vinyl is still king but if you want digital, get Culture Factory. Nobody has ever posted dynamic range values for any of the CF releases. It would be useful in order to compare to the 2005 and 2014/15 remasters without having to buy them. Also, they cost almost twice as much compared to the deluxe editions, which also feature nice sounding remasters from what I've heard.
