In my case, rarely. I listen to new releases quite intensely for a while. I rarely listen to the "classic Quo" that I love, and haven't even had time yet to watch the Dublin DVD.
Sunday afternoon was a rarity, I had the house to myself and blasted out the Quo and BFY albums. It's the first time for years I've properly listened to them.
I was reminded just how powerful they are compared to the vast majority of what came later.
This made me think....Francis....has he ever gone back and properly listened to the classic era Quo albums? It wouldn't surprise me at all if he hasn't. Could it be that he (and some of the "Quo can do no wrong" type fans) have simply forgotten how brilliant and powerful studio Quo once were?

For me it goes with periods... there can be days or weeks that I play them and then follows a period again of weeks or months that I don't play them and play other things. But at some point I always come back to the albums from MKSG to NTL

Every time i'm in the car , which is every day , and yes your right about how powerful the classic QUO album's are . Quo's golden era is absolutely outstanding , everything after BFY is just crap compared to the golden era , although loads seem to be kidding themselves that it isn't . From 1989 to 2013 it was pretty rare if I listened to any though . Thx god for that first reunion tour !

From about 1978 up to 1985 almost daily. From 1985 up to around 1990 rarely, maybe once a month. From 1990 up to 2006 maybe once a year or even less. From 2006 I rediscovered quo and when ISOTFC came out it was played a lot during a year or two. From 2009 up to 2013 not so often. From 2013 several times a week.
There are albums from the nineties that I have not even listened to once.

From around 1975ish - 1982 I was an obsesive Quo fan ( but in a good way) so I listened to them nearly every day. Mainly in the car from the cassete recorder. I think that the NEC Charlie gig that I recorded from the Radio 1 broadcast was on a continious loop in the car for nearly a year! Then I guess it got less as I married a Quo hater( she likes George Micheal, Elton etc. I know, I know) so NO Quo in the car when she is a passenger. Nowadays it depends on what mood I am in. Sometimes on a Friday I will crack open a beer and find some Quo on Youtube or when I am cooking Sunday lunch a bit of decent Quo can be heard blasting out from my kitchen, it certainly beats Steve Wrights Sunday Love Songs that the 'War Department' is singing along to!

2 or 3 times a week in the car. Usually one of the classics from the Dog through to BFY era or a live CD from the 2013/14 tours. QPQ gets an occasional airing.

Quite often put my earphones in when mowing the lawn. Very rarely listen to studio tracks, much prefer live stuff, especially the reunions.

From 1973 to around 1979, nearly every day. Very rarely in the 80s and 90s. From 2000 up to 2010 on a regular basis, and since then nearly every day.

BOTE is my cell phone signal, except for when the Mrs is calling.... I love driving with loud music when I am alone... and some nights an acoustic gets a bashing when looking for Quo, ZZ Top or Rainbow on the pooter... Not for hours as I used to, but just so I know that I know...

My car CD player holds 4 discs. All 4 are and have been Quo. I have about 15 in the car to switch through. At home, I listen to Quo every single night while working. EVERY NIGHT.
The only variations are bands that are Quo spawned or inspired. The Bombers, both configurations, The Party Boys and Piledriver.

Keep coming back to them as a go to CD after getting bored of listening to other stuff in the car. Once a Quo CD is in however, it will get hammered until I feel the need for a change.
