. The only variations are bands that are Quo spawned or inspired. The Bombers, both configurations, The Party Boys and Piledriver. Have you got the Predatur stuff? Imo it's the best Quo related music there is. I also think it's far better than most Quo output post FF

I've heard some Predatur but haven't really studied it. I will now. Thanks!

Listened to the 2nd Wolves reunion gig from 2013 today as I was tiling the kitchen.....the bit where Alan says "I've missed this so much" always brings a lump to my throat.
Hadn't listened to Quo for a while before today but this reunion gig is special to me.

Every time i'm in the car , which is every day , and yes your right about how powerful the classic QUO album's are . Quo's golden era is absolutely outstanding , everything after BFY is just crap compared to the golden era , although loads seem to be kidding themselves that it isn't . From 1989 to 2013 it was pretty rare if I listened to any though . Thx god for that first reunion tour ! We got it, your opinion is the truth, everybody who dares to differ is kidding themselves. (/sarcasm off) Don't you realized that putting others' opinions down like that, calling them out as inferior or not valid, basically ruins all debate? MBs are about exchanging opinions - respecting each other's opinions is somewhat crucial to that. Who told you that there is something as objective quality when it comes down to something so subjective as music? Take a look at GHB's poll and you'll see that there is no clear consensus, some fans think the quality of post BFY is worse than before, others say the same about NTL, and yet others like albums from the 2000s as much as the classic stuff.... all these opinions are equally valid. Rant over. For what it's worth, I listen to Quo albums depending on my mood, and I listened to Piledriver two days ago.

I rarely listen to whole albums anymore. So whenever ipod shuffle selects Quo which is quite regularly. Hm, that could lead to some interesting contrasts depending on how many Quo phases are covered on your ipod!

Even though I think Rossi was an idiot for letting the FF fall apart, a lot of the later stuff is quite good anyway. If someone else limits their own enjoyment, who am I to argue? But that does not mean I give their opinion any validity over mine.

I think that is part of subjective preference as much as anything else is
It would appear that the post 86 band also prefer the pre early/mid eighties material to their own 30 yr catalogue. Most all of the set has revolved around copying the 70's hits.
