Yes indeed Gaz, and why I put the little edit at the finish Much of the talk was of little consequence anyway - more a case of us fans having our own ideal wish-lists.
There has never been any problem with them winding down Quo. It is an inevitability and there is every reason why they are entitled to do this after so many years. Its simply been a case of hoping for the best results from it
Even though I have no hope of going to any of their final shows, I do hope there is a happy ending as in some involvement with Alan and John. I know many on here think it's disresctful for nothing less than a full gig from them but if it was done properly ,with prior advertising of Alan and Johns attendence, then I believe it'd be quite emotional in a good way. Isnt technology amazing...I'm here on my lounge relaxing with a wine on the other side of our planet and I was about to correct a spelling mistake and ... wham you've already read my post and responded all within 30 seconds ...wow :-)

I totally agree and quite aside from set-list criticisms etc, its disappointing that you guys in Oz have been destined not to see Quo before the finish - in any incarnation, should a surprise involving Alan and John spring up. This is especially bearing in mind what an enthusiastic and well received market Australia have been for Quo - obviously most especially in the peak 70's period.
I think the chances of this happening, however small they were anyway, are receding all the time, and that latest update reflects the increasing unlikeliness of it. Always happy to be proved wrong of course

Its still a bit early for that
