Aquostic 2 for sure. Probably a few new tunes thrown into the mix also given the acoustic treatment.
Then Rossi will release another solo album for the fun of it. He won't expect it to be successful as its just a creative release for him.
That will give them a few more years of product.
The Real Quo won't show their heads anymore. Dublin was it, sadly but it was a great send off and brought closure to most of us.
And so the curtain closes. Nowt much to it really. Not the grand send off we all had hoped but then again we had Milton Keynes and we had Dublin. Lets face it most of us have said our goodbyes and those that love CQ will say cheerio during their dumb electrics tour. Will be interesting to see if they get a decent send off.
Anyway....let them go the way they want to go. We have the memories and grand they were. The real Quo will always live on as much as they have done in the past 30 years when they no longer existed. CQ are a damp squid so who cares!

If Aquostic 2 is treated in the same manner as the first album then it will turn a profit, but only as much as BQ did.
Second time around, the novelty factor will have worn off, they can't take their clothes off again as that will be seen as old hat, and the only recognizable song left is ITAN.
The better post-86 songs are the ones that are deep and meaningful, and with this being Quo's last album, the tracklist should reflect that.
1. In The Army Now 2. Red Sky 3. Who Gets The Love 4. The Power Of Rock 5. Warning Shot 6. Twenty Wild Horses 7. Shine On 8. Creepin' Up On You 9. You'll Come Round 10. The Party Ain't Over Yet 11. Tongue Tied 12. Dust To Gold
I'm sure the band could come up with a few more tracks fitting in with the general mood.
Call the album Lights Out and it'd be a winner.

Aquostic 2 is going to have to be deep cuts, isn't it? In the liner notes for the deluxe release of IYCSTH, Francis mentions that he wouldn't mind having a crack at Someone Show Me Home for the next album. So it can't be the greatest hits, and it doesn't have to be post '84. So they could cherry pick whatever tunes might work. And I can only see that being bought by hardcore fans or the completists. Mrs Jones isn't going to care about a strumalong version of Electric Arena (and, to be honest, neither is Mr LPB).

... as that will be seen as old hat ... Or at least, seriously in need of an old hat. Or several!

If there is aquostic 2, I hope they revert to what they should have done last time & make proper acoustic versions where they actually play, rather than a dull strumathon with strings & accordion used to add a bit of colour. I think that their music just doesn't suit the acoustic sound..It's rock n roll man! It's not my preference, just that it could be done a lot less worse than how they did it. Funnily enough, they stripped out all the interesting twiddly guitar bits that probably would work on acoustic, seemingly just to make it easier to strum their way through the whole thing.

I am ok with Andy being there I would worry if Andy were there it might turn into a half-arena tour. If they do redo the late 70's vibe, I hope it would again be in smaller venues, like the FF was. I'm not sure if the addition of Andy to the line-up & perhaps a few tracks such as Whatever You Want & Rockin' All Over The World, etc. will lead to a change to arenas. I still think they'll plan on less demand than for the 'Last Electrics'.

I'd welcome Andy to an FF + 1 gig. I know that many fans prefer the 71 to 76 FF period, but an gig that featured some of the RAOTW, WYW period (as well as the earlier 70's) would be something else of a refreshing change and surprise.
There was a large amount of positive music press, media and radio attention at the time of the reunion(s). Much more rock orientated musical mainstream sources, quite different to the usual celebrity and daytime telly commercial greatest hits bandwagon.
If promotion priorities had been different since those initial reunions, to tap into that potential interest properly rather than downplay and relegate the re-appearance of the FF as a transitory second fiddle arrangement to the current band, then I think demand for any last hurrah FF gig would be greater than might be assumed.
First of all though, we would need to hear the news that it is going to happen....

So we've already got two contenders for Aquostic 2 - Someone Show Me Home & Can't Give You More.

CGYM is a great song 'electrically', but it would be yet another strum along acoustically
They need slower songs that force them to be more inventive and creative....

If Aquosick 2 does happen I would wager that, whatever songs are chosen, minimal effort will go into arranging them and they'll just strum basic chords like kids do in guitar lessons at school. What a waste of (fast disappearing) time.

What a waste of (fast disappearing) time. Aye, & rather than accordion & strings, perhaps they'll go for pedal steel & fiddle to add the missing colour to the arrangements whilst they all sit in a row strumming away.

In your opinion! Francis however says it sounds great strummed acoustically He probably thought that about the majority of the songs on Aquostic, but as we know, it was a case of strum, strum, strum. ‘Can't Give You More’ was so good that the band recorded it not once but twice, opting to revisit the Rossi/Bob Young composition on 1991’s ‘Rock 'Til You Drop’ album.
“That one's also about the ex-wife. It sounds great being strummed acoustically, but I still don't think we’ve ever got it right [in the studio],” Francis states, picking up an acoustic and singing the chorus for emphasis. Point made, he continues: “I still love it as a song, though. It lies in my love of country music and the Everly Brothers.”

Can't give you more, was only rerecorded and released as a single because it was meant to be used in a TV Ad campaign for peri water.
