Yet another pointless release, they could be releasing old live stuff but instead they release this.

we love a bit of false advertisement... "Until now, many of these tracks have only been available on CD singles or editions of albums only available in one country."
These tracks have all just been included on the Heavy Traffic and Riffs Deluxes 6. You Let Me Down 7. Money Don’t Matter 8. The Madness 9. Don’t Bring Me Down 10. You’ll Come ‘Round 11. Thinking of You 12. Lucinda
And i couldn't imagine wanting to pay £99 for a test pressing *SIGNED* by Mike Paxman.
The rest are left overs of what would've been included on the likes of Under The Influence, Famous In The Last Century had the deluxe releases for those not been pulled

Think this will be the first time the brilliant Obstruction Day has been released since 1999?

Suppose includes stuff not released since the cd singles so something a bit different. Many of these tracks not available on apple/itunes etc but maybe one for Quo completists. Nice to see a vinyl version available which is uncommon for these type of releases.

Nice to see a vinyl version available which is uncommon for these type of releases. The Vinyl is only half of the tracks on the CD, and to make things worse it's a picture disc.

Thing is, had they not cancelled the deluxe editions of those late 90s albums they'd have been released alongside unreleased live sets - but they (UMG) couldn't be arsed licensing them, so it seemed to me.

Were Don't Waste My Time ('98 version) and Whatever You Want (new version) included on any previous release, they are the only two tracks on the CD that I don't personally have copies of.

Not sure about the artwork probably as it’s Driving to glory they assumed the song was about cars hence the zz top style sleeve?

An odd release I suppose. But the test pressing being limited to 25 dangles a bit of a carrot to collectors. Not sure about the artwork myself. Capitalising (incorrectly) on the title no doubt. But it does seem quaintly old fashioned as opposed to deliberately retro. Real shame about the cancelled deluxe releases. The collection feels incomplete without them

I wonder how Cherry Red would react to being asked for a test pressing not signed by Paxman. Lol I don't particularly want it anyway.
