I don't mind this one, but what happened to the guitars sound.

They'd laid it down as Rick was to sing it originally, hence it being a but high in places for Francis. Wonder why Rick didn’t sing it?
I quite like it.

I have always liked this track despite lack of guitars on it. This would have suited Rick’s voice not sure why he didn’t want to do it. Apparently there is a version of Queenie in the archives with Francis singing.

This would have suited Rhino's voice.

When I heard on the Quoline (remember that!?) that they were releasing this as the second single I was mortified. I thought it was crap. Completely. By far the worst single and worst sounding single they had released up to that point.
Though another belter was just around the corner !

A big nope from me, although I do think the song is marginally better than the video.

Guilty pleasure for me - I really like it as a pop-rock song.
I have to say, the version posted above sounds less guitary than I remember - maybe the YouTube algorithm?

Nope, not for me. Don't like it at all.
It's just not my cup of cookie. And the extra tracks with the single were equally underwhelming.
Not sure what it is about it. A lack of guitars doesn't necessarily result in a track I won't like. Far from it. Just the melody I guess. Bit bland for me.
I'm sure one of the band at the time (can't recall which one) really liked it. I remember it from the FTMO I think. It wasn't Francis.
Bombed, of course, like most of the singles for a few years. You can appreciate why.

I like it since the first time I heard it. It isn't one of the favorites from the album, but ok.
But, a question that I have since I heard it the first time the "extended version" from the CD2 single. Why they extended the single version and not the album version?
It has a cut here in the single version to the chorus, but doesn't seem completely extended to me.
The "extended version"
The album version
Don't make sense. Yes, they added a new chorus when it isn't there before but...Now I'm lost.
