Mick goes gaga on this new track! It's a real grower and I'm still amazed at what he can do on stage!

A few weeks on and I'm still enjoying the album, very very very good ! As am I. Few weeks in and each time I play it it retains the magic it did on those initial runs through. I think this one will resonate more than the last few, it has such a charm and vibe to it. Bloody great songs don't hurt either, and it has plenty of those.

Still doing what they do best and enjoying every single note they play. So they're 80? Who cares, they still play like they mean it (they've all got plenty of cash, and boy, do they deserve it.) I came relatively late to the party, but now I'm hooked.
The absolute masters of Rock and roll, undoubtedly the greatest band on earth. Fabulous.

The Stones are releasing (only weeks after the original!) a special edition of 'Hackney Diamonds' on December 15th. A double disc set; slightly different artwork, amended booklet, the bonus CD will include the live tracks played at the album launch in NYC on October 19th. Photos from that mini-gig will feature in the amended booklet. On one hand a great strategy; less than two months after release, and as the album is still in Charts (still Top-5 in UK I think), back to No.1 on Amazon, a sales bump in the week leading to Xmas. I have no doubt another special edition will be released in 2024 with the DVD of that show, the single remixes..etc. OTT; not sure any album in recent memory has had the sheer amount of variations as this. The fan in me cannot say no to the new edition, even just for the live tracks. But goddang, I bought 3 copies (Japanese digipack version for bonus track and expanded booklet, standard international jewel case, and the CD-Bluray combo with book). Oh, and the cassette - a collectible, couldn't say no. Many here will of course be well accustomed to the collector mindset; normally I never buy multiples, usually just one copy, but this time I relented. Thankfully I do love the album. I hadn't foreseen owning 5 copies before the year was out, but here we are
