That sad irony - as you all know, I went to see Jeff Beck play at the Albert Hall last year and there were plenty of empty seats. Yesterday, the tribute concert tickets went on sale, same venue, for Priority booking only and already, its sold out.
That's okay. I'm sure it will be moving but no-one alive plays like Jeff did. So it wouldn't be the same. So glad I saw him again last year. Yep. If we all knew that Dublin was absolutely, definitely the last time we'd see our lads on stage together, we'd all have bust a gut to head to Ireland. I hear you on that too. For me, Quo are so tied up with our South London roots, and I mostly saw them at Hammersmith Odeon, that I knew I was saying goodbye then. In fact, I found myself weeping at the end of the gig, know it was the last time. And I chose not to Dublin for that reason.

Agree with you mortified. I don't feel heartbroken that I can't get a ticket. Bit disappointed as I've never seen Clapton live but I've tried to see him live either. I doubt I'd go to a Quo tribute gig. The reunion gigs were them for me. So glad we had them.
