Tomorrow 24th will be the 6th anniversary of losing Rick. As always, we'll raise a glass to the best damned rhythm guitarist that ever lived. Cheers for the music and the gigs Rick.

Love your choice of pic, that grin and the naughty twinkle in his eyes completely sum Rick up.

The day the music died. 6 years ago, where has the time gone? RIP Rick.

It seems very recent, until I think about it and then it seems a very long time ago. I've watched some of the videos since then, but though the band are doing a good job, there's no filling the Rick-shaped cap. Never was.

Again it doesn't seem six years. Probably inspired thousands of guitar playing. Seemed crueler to have left us over Christmas.

The only thing I can really say about Rick is that, I wouldn't have got into music without him. He was and is my number one.
It probably makes no sense but, when I was alone as a kid, he felt like my friend and clips of him got me through bad times.
I will never forget, at 3 or 4 years of age, watching the NEC 89 video with my Dad and just been awestruck at this guy with blonde hair, belting out Caroline. I hadn't a clue what he was doing, I hadn't a clue what sound he was making, all I knew was that whatever it was, it's what I wanted to do. He's who I wanted to look like and be like.
Didn't matter how many times I saw him live, it was always a thrill! It was always a privilege!
I truly do miss him

I can't believe how long ago that was. I remember everything as if it were yesterday. The shock when I came out of the church, the tears, Dad (massive fan, too), who then before the "Bescherung"loudly played Whatever You Want and Living On An Island, the evening and the night spent here virtually with you, drunk and mourning, because none of us could sleep ...
RIP Ricky and have a drink with the Queen, as she is up there with you no, too!
Now first crank out Big Fat Mama!!!

And shame on you, management and social media team of Quo. No mention of this so very special and sad day! Just appalling and disgraceful!

I wasn't expecting any acknowledgment and wasn't surprised to find there wasn't one. As ever, out of touch with the fanbase. I've seen a ton of tributes on Farcebook from fans old and new. Mind you, the band's PR/social media team are so mind-bogglingly inept they would have in all likelihood spelled his name incorrectly and with an inappropriate apostrophe.

I had a gig back at the start of November and before I do gigs, I always warm up with Quo stuff on guitar, at my house.
Recorded this for someone I think of as a friend, to take a look at. Was very hesitant to post anything like this on here publicly (We're all Quo nuts after all) but, what the hell...We're here to celebrate Rick Parfitt, his music and his playing and how his legacy and influence will live on

What I’d do to be able just play something basic on a guitar. Thanks freewilly and hope the year ahead is a good one for you.👍
