Thanks for that, I didn't get to see the magazine, so it was great to be able to read the article. There's a lot of stuff in there that could be open to interpretation, such as the comment about Rick wanting to be where Francis was. Some are taking it as meaning Rick wanted Francis' role in the band, but what if he just meant he wanted the marriage and kids and satisfaction with life that Francis seems to have? Just a thought, as I can't possibly know what Francis meant by that comment. |

I wouldn't have thought Quo would be quite in the "sir" bracket anyway. Not enough of a dollar earner. They hand them out to anyone these days tbf. Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane have awards don't they? For what? Exactly... Think Bono, could be wrong, was offered an honoury Knighthood or award. He didn't accept it. Credit to Bono for turning it down. Then you have smug pretentious people like Gary Barlow who is so desperate for a knighthood its pathetic everything he shows up on or does and his whole personality to me just comes across like he is doing anything to get knighted as he is so full of himself and self importance  |

It may be recycling the old stories, but I find all Rossi stories fascinating still, not saying he's always right (but it's never his fault, just everyone else's  ) there's always that little 'nugget' you may have not realized or known about, but instead of hearing the Rick/Alan/John 'slating' what about the other members of Quo being targeted by the Rossi 'wrath'  Or was it just one big happy camp (besides Rick)?? Perhaps some proper Rock Historians could ask Francis next time...just to throw him off his usual 'Frantic Four' bashing? |
